that Drew Brees likely destination is Miami. Of course, take that for what it's worth.....cause we all know how things flip flop. He did say New Orleans has made a big push for Brees but they may take Matt Leinart in the draft.

If that happens, Clayton says Brees would be wise and more likely to sign with Miami considering that Leinart may be drafted by the Saints. He also said that the frontrunners for Culpepper is Oakland. And Willie McGinst might end up in Miami as well.

Again, take it for what it's worth...all rumors. Still feels good to hear alot of players interested/rumored to be headed to Miami. We can always dream.

Nothing is set in stone. He was just speculating.

I just read McGinst wants to go back to the Pats.

We all know (all NFL fans) that Miami would be the wiser place go but, $$$ does factor in big time.

How much more can the Saints offer than the Dolphins anyways? I didn't think the Saints were in that great of cap shape.

I truly HATE McGinest... As good as he may be, I will have a hard time rooting for him as a Phin.

I am the same way. I have too much bad blood against the stupid pats. But I love hearing that others think Brees is headed this way. I just want to hear the news when his name is in ink!!!

brees isnt going to new orleans not with lineart going there

Ya, but if the Saints got Brees, I doubt they would draft Lienart. That would be stupid of them.

The Saints are currently $20 million under the cap without cutting a single player. Cutting Aaron Brooks, Fred Thomas, few other deadweight vets will yield another $10 million. The Saints have plenty of money to throw at Brees if they chose too.......

But its not like the Dolphins can't offer him a big contract. Maybe not as big as the Saints offer, but it should be a big one.
