Sorry if this was posted, Im just watching ESPN News, and John Clayton came on and when asked who was the biggest winner today, he said the Miami Dolphins.

His reasons are because we revamped our roster with solid players in the matter of a day and because theres still room for more moves.

Personally Im glad to hear this.

even the most fickle of fans have to be impressed with todays signing

im not saying super bowl.. because that is just ridiculous... but can we challenge for a playoff spot if BP and JI keep doing what they are doing??

Lately, we've botched FA even more than we've botched the draft, so the start we're off to this year is refreshing. Hope it continues!

One word of warning...Starks hasn't been officially confirmed by the official website and neither has Smiley...just saying...and Pace going to NY would put a huge damper on the whole thing.

I hate to minimize the events of the day, but a) we made more moves than anyone else and b) we couldn't have gotten worse today than we have been the last several years...

That said, I'm excited. The one thing I have a concern for is that we know that Parcells has the resume to be respected for his personnel moves (unlike Wanny, Saban or Cam) but can Sparano coach them up like we know the Tuna can....

OMG

We are just stepping in the right direction we are not a play-off calibre team we are not at full throttle..., Pace is great but we'll be OK if he signs elsewhere...

Hell, knowing Tuna, he will fire Sparano and will place himself as a HC if there will be any problems.

I still think we will be picking top 5 next year. Which we should be able to land Rey Maualuga or Micheal Oher.

yeah we need to get pace here ny already got faneca cant let them have pace to. we lost out on flo not really miami's faught wanted to stay in dal and didnt want to be part of a rebuilding process.

We may not be in the Playoffs this year but i dont think it will take long to get there

Schefter and the other dude on the NFL Network said, Dolphins were definitely and emphatically the winners so far. No hesitation whatsoever.

Tuna's on the prowl.

Miami is signing some quality players and Phin fans should be getting excited, now realize that Parcells is just getting started.

Miami is coming off a horrible season which should scare FA's away from signing, but players and coaches around the league respect Tuna and want to play/work for him. Miami is quickly becoming an attractive place for FA's.

As a Bills fan I have to admit that I'm impressed with what Tuna has done so far and I'm curious (if not worried) to see what he does next.

I had the Phins figured for a 5 year rebuilding plan but Tuna looks like he wants it done in 3 and wants to be competitive this season.

It's going to take two solid offseasons to be a playoff contender again.

The big ? is our QB situation. If Beck develops quickly and comes out this year guns blazing because of the better talent around him, then we could be good quicker than we thought.

If, however, Beck turns out to be yet another dud in our search for a QB, then it'll take us more than two years to get back to the playoffs IMO.
