I just want to say, I have watched games again. Columbo is getting his ars handed to him on here but you know what? He hasnt been as bad as everyone says. I say he got exposed by a Dline that was active. By active i mean quick to punch and move. peter Faulk and Carey got exposed.

Carey can solve his problem by someone harrassing him on the sidelines. If anyone is sitting on fins side around midfield lower level, could you please start harrassing Carey? Its for the good of the team.

Columbo is still a big man and very strong. He is stiff and slow sometimes. Alot of other times though he has his man rapped up. Other times, it doesnt matter if he gets beat cus Henne either takes off or ball is out. I think these guys can do enough to get by. This offense is designed to overcome 1st and 20 and 2nd and 15 situations. I dont mind if henne has to take a sack now and again so long as no fumbles or throwing picks. Just take the sack, regroup and get the first down. You start to see that on a regular basis, you know this offense will be successful.

Yeah, honestly, the surprising thing is that Carey has regressed. It was like his play fell off a goddamn cliff. Columbo has been a slow and steady decline, which is why them signing him from Dallas was so surprising (or disturbing, take your pick) but Carey was playing at a high level the past 3 years. Now he is so bad I expect him to be out of the league in 2 years once his reputation wears off.

Last year though we were cutting Carey and his drop off some slack due to his knee issues...this year he comes back and we stick him at RG....Wonder if he got to be RT something could light a fire under his arse.....wishful thinking. I still think he is more of a T than a G. Can't pull for anything, but maybe he could at least still have some sort of legs under to hold up at RT. I dunno...I just can't believe what a mess it is.
