The cryptkeeper John Clayton said, "After beating the Jets with extensive use of the Wildcat, what's next, the wishbone?" in this weeks power rankings for ESPN.

The dolphins check in at #18 while the recently defeated Jets are #9. (Pats check in at 10)

what a 2 faced turd. he was saying on mike and mike this morning, how the dolphins are the only team can use the wildcat effectively and how it really works for them.

if he can find a better way to average 7 yards an attempt, im all ears.

Thing was too..the Jets knew it was coming, but they could do nothing at all to stop it.

I just don't get how no one seems to be able to credit the Dolphins with running the wildcat successfully.

16 plays for 110 yards last night....against a "good defense"

I can't find any stats on the wildcat from previous weeks but analysts assume this is our main option on offense and it gets to me. Miami runs it a fair amount but it cannot be more than 25% of our plays.

And still, it is not as though it's unsuccessful. Miami runs it the best and will continue to do so and teams do not look as though they are anywhere near stopping it.

I don't know wtf Clayton is thinking here... what a stupid write up.. the jets USED 2 FAKE PUNTS and you want to call the Dolphins gimmicky? By using a power formation and 98% of the time running out of it????

We ran 64 offensive plays for 416 yards and 16 for 110 yards were the Wildcat. So exactly 25% of our plays. It was 25% called and 25% of our offense, pretty cool that it worked out that way.

I'm happy like a SOB, but who cares what Clayton or others think? MIA needs to take the off week to progress. MIA needs to learn from yesterday and move towards tomorrow.

If Cobbs were still around, why wouldn't MIA try it? MIA until the injury to Cobbs had the best 3 RB rotation in the league.

Even my bro who is a BUF fan said, "Losing that Cobbs is kinda big" I agree he made blocks and plays.

You guys need to calm down, it's not a dig at us, Clayton just tries to be funny with his side notes of the power rankings.

IF the Wishbone will work like the Single Wing/Wild Cat, bring it on.
