Barry Jackson and Antwan Staley now in on the news, so I assume it is legit.

Crazy to think there is a LS in the NFL with more experience than Denney. Don Muhlbach has been with the Lions since 2004.

Denney and Ladouceur(Dallas) have both been in the NFL since 2005.

Why? We could have gotten a cheaper option.

Not much cheaper. At best you save 700,000

Dude what are you saving, like $750K? Keep the guy and his streak around.

So we are still making sentimental signings. I know it's cheap but just feels wrong for the direction of the team. I'm a nitpicker, we best not re-sign Wake or Gore.

I am a fan of Denney. but, at what point do you make a change? Sign a young option that actually can make it down the field and get in the returners way at least?

im sure someone cheap will be brought in to compete, im thinking that the competition favors the younger guy more this time around

You don't need youth at long snapper, fellas. Come on now.

Just like you don't need youth at kicker. A kicker can play till 50 as long as he's knocking it through and comes at the right price.

    Youth at long snapper. Lol

    Gosh we go overboard.
