I voted uncertain. Didn't watch enough Ravens this year. I know I personally have thought Lamar was good but not great. I also know Derrick Henry is a beast. I wonder why we think he'd do better here.

I personally think, if I were Harbaugh, I'd avoid the uncertainty of Miami and go to a team with promise of immediate success. I mean, imagine its you! If it were me, first I'd go eat some sushi off of a woman's body in the name of art (this is a thing). Then I'd buy a sweet racecar. Then Id go get a coaching job for the Giants, or some other team with a prayer. Then again, if Ross gave me 100 million dollars I'd come to Miami with knee pads
You had me at race car....

I went uncertain for 1 reason....Brian Flores. I think if the team didnt gel under Flores, then Harbaugh to me is 10 times worse as a disciplinarian. It could go 2 ways - team will quit - or the team will embrace.

I know that if Harbaugh is signed, the floodgates may open for better quality players coming to Miami.

At the end of the day, I think there is about a 10% chance of him coming here.
I don't think Flores got shown the door because he was a disciplinarian. Word was that he was an asshole to pretty much everyone in the building.

When was that? Lamar was horrible this year. He was injured like 8 different ways and finished with the lowest rushing total (by 350 yards) in his career. Objectively speaking, 31 NFL teams thought Jackson wasn’t worth taking and Harbaugh was the only guy who thought he could be a franchise QB. I pity the coach who takes over when Lamar is old and cannot run anymore.
Harbaugh didn't make that call.

Harbaugh didn't make that call.
It’s not about if the made the call to draft Lamar; it’s about the follow up. He completely redesigned his offense to fit the Lamar’s skill set. Teams who were hesitant to draft him did not want to do that. I don’t think Lamar would have the success he has had if he went to another team.

I would like him to come here and build a massive oline. And those teams come to miami and just ground and pound them in this heat. And oppose are will the stadium set up for that. The opposing team gets no shade.

I'll give it a go...

1. It might be his only offer. 2. Not far from having a good running game and his boy Weaver might not be too many pieces from a decent defense. 3. The prima donna QB thing is presently not an issue unlike his last stop. 4. A couple years of nasty cap constraints isn't the worst thing if he gets a say in how the rebuild goes down. 5. Maybe he doesn't like the cold.

I would say weak sauce to 1-3

4, 5 are more legitimate - Controlling the GM and therefore the roster is huge - Owning the town like a college coach is big

He would come here because this will be his franchise. He can build the roster and the front office how he wants. I don’t think he’s necessarily looking at rosters because he’s going to bring in his own players and none of the teams interested have a franchise qb. Plus:
-we can outbid anybody
-no state taxes
-weather
-his daughter goes to college 3 hours away
-his family has a strong relationship with Ross
-we have 5 top 100 picks in the draft
-Dolphins are an iconic franchise that needs someone to bring them back to prominence
-he can pick is own Gm
- Ross will give him total control and stay out of the way
-our cap could potentially be in good shape in 27

I think Miami is the best option. He’s not going to Vegas and play his brother twice a year in a tough division. Why would he go to the giants and lose half his money to taxes and be stuck with Dart and deal with that media in the cold weather? Hes not going to the browns. Titans are a possibility but he can’t pick his front office. Maybe Falcons.

I think these are viable - picking his own GM is big -

Someone in Miami will figure it out someday that running games travel as in non gimmick run in games work in all weather

I realize it’s another vote thread and no one with a functioning brain stem would vote “no” for Harbaugh to Miami, but it’s so unrealistic on so many levels that it doesn’t warrant a vote. If I was Harbaugh and walked into a room consisting of Ross (sleeping) Shore (babbling about cap issues), Garfinkel (bragging about race tracks and development), Marino (checking his watch to make sure he’s not missing a tee time), Ross’s son in law (cruising fantasy football stats to act like he knows something about football), and Aikman (who’s there for a quick paycheck and learning how NOT to run a franchise), then I’d run out of there like a horse from a burning stable.

So basically you have no real other teams he might go to, you just dislike Miami, and believe he just should not pick them just because?

Highzenga gave you many reasons why he might pick Miami, and if pressed, I am sure could find even more reasonable reason, but you don't seem to have even 1 team that could present a better situation then Miami...Seems this debate is over before even starting.

These Dolphins podcast clowns doing their “sign Harbaugh yesterday shtick!” are truly pathetic, but I appreciate anyone trying to make a buck, even with dishonesty, like trying to gaslight dumb fanboys into thinking Harbaugh even has the Dolphins as his last option. He ain’t coming here, move on, it would be a great get but this miserable franchise and its ownership/management “gang that couldn’t shoot straight” group, cap hell, no quarterback, no hope, isn’t exactly a selling point. And I don’t want to hear about the Ross money and property taxes, and climate, or whatever dumb stuff fans come up with to justify going to Miami. There are plenty of NFL owners who could outbid Ross in a second if they wanted Harbaugh. And probably with less shakier foundations than the Dolphins. Get over it. Good luck and Godspeed.
That was not the question.

Reasons Why would he come to
Miami

List them
He is secretly a masochist and relishes the chance to endure at least two years of cap hell. He looks forward to that pain along with taking up snorkeling, which he will do in only skivies in the hopes of being attacked by small sharks and jellyfish.
