Anyone know why nobody wants John Lynch? Has he been signed yet since the Pats released him? I wouldnt mind signing him for his veteran leadership in the defensive backfield. We don't have to make him a starter, maybe platoon him, or bring him in as relief if and when our safety gets burnt.

I heard that the Jests were going to bring him for a look....but that ultimately he would resign with the Pats after week 1 (when his salary wouldn't be fully guaranteed)

He's somthing of a coverage liability at this point. As much as I respect the guy I think he's a step backwards for a younger team that doesn't have very good CBs, like Miami.

Well with all due respect, speed isn't everything. I bet our safeties are faster than Rodney HArrison has been in a while (even though he so obviously juices) but he's a savvy veteran with cheat tapes to watch that tell him where people will be at all times....Lynch has now seen those tapes, case closed. :sidelol:
