The Niners can't sustain the momentum of their two-game winning streak, as Chad Pennington throws four touchdowns and Yeremiah Bell intercepts a pair of Shaun Hill passed, returning one 91 yards for a score. Pennington completed 24 of his 31 passes for 184 yards and did not throw an interception, finishing the game with an astronomical passer rating of 130.9. Frank Gore led the 49er offense with 104 rushing yards, but was held scoreless on the day.

Just checked link, it is in fact from the game, not the actual John Madden.
 
No wonder

How could anyone even get a hold of John Madden in the middle of the week, he's driving his bus all over the country. Besides, i doubt he's competent enough to even make picks considering he probably doesn't even remember half of the teams names.
 
The only thing Madden picks is his nose, his tough acting Tinactined yellow toe nails and his teeth after devouring a cow on his Madden cruiser!
