Pro Day News - Rutgers, UTEP, Purdue, Arizona

Rutgers - Brian Leonard stood by his combine numbers and only participated in RB drills.

Texas El Paso - Johnnie Lee Higgins ran times of 4.3 and a 4.34 seconds in the 40-yard dash, improving on his disappointing 4.48 at the combine.

Purdue - Anthony Spencer ran a 4.64 40-yard dash, improving on his 4.70 40 at the combine.

Arizona - Zach Miller ran the 40 in 4.74 seconds compared to 4.87 at the combine. He also performed well during the drills.

Anybody have any news on OHIO STATE and West VIRGINIA Pro Day results?

I wanted Higgins late 2nd or early 3rd and Spencer late 2nd. Guess none of that is going to happen now.
If Oakland drafts a QB with the 1st pick and trades Moss, actually regardless if the trade Moss, me thinks Higgins is Oaks 2nd choice, or Ginn if he is still there. People say Ginn is top 10, I say he may drop all the way to Oak's 2nd pick.

The only disappointing about Zach Miller's workout is that he only did 16 reps on the bench press. That could be attributed to his wrist injury that prevented him from lifting during the combine.

At least Higgins saved some face from the combine after running .3 above what he said he was going to run.

As for the Ohio State pro day Gil Brandt has put up a little info piece saying that it will be up later on the NFL pro day site and that Ted Ginn did not work out due to his sore foot.
