Jones and Bell

Looking for thoughts and opinions on our new starting Safety tandem. How do they stack up against previous duo's? I don't know much about Bell but I think Tebucky will be solid back there. I wasn't too impressed with Sammy Knight when he was here but I don't think we have a Brock Marion either.

Jones is solid and Bell is young and will improve IMO.

Let me throw in I don't want to see one person question why Schulters isn't starting!! Because I know it is only a matter of time till somoene posted it in here. Schulters has looked like nothing more than a special teamer or 2nd stringer so far.

Anyway, I think those 2 are the best for the spots and their play has shown that.

i dont want to upset you, lol.....the last thing i want to do is upset a fellow fins fan, but i always thought by bringing in Schulters (a pro bowler) he would defeinetely be a starter. Same with McDougle and Middleton....why is it that these guys arent starting??? Is it the system??? I thought Schulters was a definete starter....but i also know Bell has potential. IMO, i think we should cut Tillman.

They are not starting because they have not played like starters. It is that simple. None of those guys (except maybe Middleton) have looked that good. Middleton has looked ok, but way out of shape. Schulters has not impressed me nor has McDougle. Actually McDougle keeps doing things to bring negative publicity to him. Shoot was it is first play that he got a false start in this last game? He keeps making too many mistakes.
