Jonnu Smith not at mandatory minicamp

Obviously Ramsey is not there and is excused. Smith is not and subject to a $100,000 fine if he misses the 3 days. I say fine his ass. It is time this team stopped being soft with players and hold them accountable.

McD danced around it in his presser "not going to get into personal matters, we've been communicating and we're on the same page." Went on to say "business is business" in the same general line of questioning, certainly sounds like he's being fined even though it wasn't addressed directly.

It’s not the players. It’s the culture. If you allow it to happen it will continue to happen
That is a separate issue. The NFL is generally heading to more and more contract disputes and I have zero sympathy for a player who signs a new deal and then 2 or 3 years later is seeking a brand new deal. They can **** off. Part of team management is trying to navigate the salary cap and allowing the team to grow.

Now as to team culture, it starts at the top and the owner allows it to happen, clean house from the top down or you'll have the same product year in and year out, this year will be no different.

Ideally we could trade him for a high level blocking TE.

Play or get the **** out. I'm tired of these whiny *****.
Totally agree. Jonnu can now go fark himself. Get rid of the ingrate. McD and the Fins made him. I'm all for shipping him out ASAP!

If that was the case, I think it would be an excused absence.
We are not sure what the case is. But I assume if a trade is near 100k is a wash vs him getting injured etc.

Failing that, fine his ass and cut him 😂
