One of the smartest and highest character guys on the team is former Michigan team captain and Safety, Jordan Kovacs. I read the story months ago that he was a long shot to make the roster, but he made it and has been playing on Special Teams.
I am guilty of just following the ball on Special Teams and tend not to notice the contribution made by many of our Special Teamers. I know that players like Spitler, Trusnik, Don Jones, RJ Stanford, Marlon Moore and even Dion Jordan are out there with Jordan, but it all happens so quickly that I tend not to notice who did well and who didn't.
I am curious to get some feedback on who is doing well and who isn't. Of particular interest is Kovacs. His reputation of being such a natural team leader and good influence in the locker room and tireless tackler, makes me wonder if he is good enough to get the next opportunity to play Safety on the team. Welcome your feedback. I would love to see him succeed. (And my hunch is that his fellow Michigan alum and owner, Stephen Ross would love to see it as well). I know that he's a little slow and only 5'10" but his tackling at Michigan was terrific.

Surely somebody knows how well Jordan Kovacs is playing? Hayden, you follow things closer than most.
