I would love to see the Phins move Jordan to Wheeler spot on defense. I know he's suspended for first four games, but I truly think he would excel in space. I'm over Wheeler!!!!

After all the roids Jordan took to get bigger and play DE...no. They've got Jordan's spot at DE, that's what he's been working towards, that's where he should play. Wheeler's replacement will come in either Jenkins, Tripp or McCain or in next years draft. Should have just cut that clown and taken the cap hit this year.

McCain looked good in game 1.

Mccain made big mistakes while showing he can move like NFL athletes.
Jordan made no plays at all...
I wouldnt mind the move but I wouldnt expect it

Granted pre season games do not mean alot but they do give you an idea on sone players! And pre season is where Jordan should be showing the coaches something against other teams players ! Right now I can't possibly see him starting ! All he could be is situational until he refines his game more! And the 4 game suspension won't help him!

Yeah and he was playing against 2nd and 3rd string players and I didn't see much from him.

I saw him drop in coverage a few times last night. I just think he would be a hell of a lb . I think our coaches are just to stubrn soemtimes. Always trying to put square pegs in round holes

On 560, I think it was Omar Kelly, they suggested Jordan's upside is covering Receivers and TE's and he should be on a 3-4 as an outside linebacker.. But in this D he should replace wheeler. He also said we should bring back Burnett to play some LB

Jordan should be an OLB. that was clear from day one. Dolphin management is just to stubborn to admit the DE experiment isnt working. The fish have lots of DE depth. LB is were they are weakest on D. Then again Jordan hasnt showed much for a number 3 pick in the draft. No thunder and certainly no lightning. I'll be shocked if he doesnt go down as a big time bust for the fins. Look for him to get moved next year for a 3 or lower round pick to someone who thinks they can coach him up.

I doubt Jordan will ever be a good 4-3 LB maybe 3-4. Also after all that hard work taking steroids and bulking up you now want him to slim back down lol

Good coaches no how to maximize talent and put players in position to succeed. It's my biggest complaint with our coaching staff

we've seen flashes in year 1 so im not worried about his play in preseason week 1 and i've always said this guy is a linebacker not a DE

When reading about Jordan immediately after the draft it sounded pretty apparent that he was born for the 3-4, where his plus ability to blitz and to cover (which is supposed to be his best skill) could be utilized and mixed up to make both effective and make him a matchup problem for offenses. At DE all the time...not so much, although I thought he showed more pass rush ability last year when actually given a chance and think last night's game was an aberration.
