Jordan Tripp is the real deal. He is the best LB the Phins have. Our LB unit is the weakest part of our defense and Tripp is the shot in the arm it needs.

There is no way in hell that Wheeler is a better player than Tripp. Wheeler is a very average LB.

Jenkins is better than Wheeler as well. If Jenkins steps up a bit this year I would start him next season with Tripp and either Misi or Ellerbe.

What would be the cap hit for cutting Wheeler at this point? I know we have cap room. Wheeler is getting in the way of progress.

This D has a chance to be really nasty. We all know that Wake, Starks, and Grimes are great players. Odrick and Vernon are good players. But, the two players who can really put this defense over the top and into elite status are Tripp and Dion Jordan. Thats right. Ireland like a boss. Jordan is the real deal. One offseason full of PED's is all this guy needed. He will be an absolute force when he returns from suspension.

This team could be pretty damn good after all thanks in large part to how special the defense could be. We could win some games. If only we had a QB we could be a legit contender for the whole deal. The WR group looks to have 6 real solid players. They key will be winning the first 2 games. If we do that and start out strong in the division we have a chance. If we start 0-2 it might be too much of an uphill climb even when Jordan returns for game 5 and the defense becomes lights out.
 
Jordan Tripp is not the best LB we have. He's not even top 3.
 
I knew you wasn't going to make it thru the entire post without back-handing Ryan Tannehill in some way lol.

Believe me when I say that Ryan Tannehill will be much improved this season.

WV like a boss.... Not!! Amazing how you always manage to slam our Qb. Once again total failure! Trip our best linebacker. Wow, and you know this cause of the tweets there putting out. If so you should praise Tanny cause he tore it up today.

I like jordan tripp but you make so many head scratching threads. Ireland like a boss for example. Im not sure your endorsement is a good thing
 
Tripp is a Stud Dude. Im with you WV. The thing is he won't start. You know the beauty of the Dolphins is they are maybe the worst team in the NFL at recognizing and utilizing the talent they have. Remember Rob Ninkovich (now with New England) We had the Dude in 2008 and 2008, never played... Last year with the Pats 90 Tackles and 8 Sacks...Brilliant. Wheeler is a like a total boss though.
 
Tripp does seem to have a knack for the strip, fumble recovery run. He had some on his college highlights and some of the practice tweets showed this too; then he did it in the scrimmage today. At some point it is not a random accident.

From what I've read he's still small and it's a big jump from Montana to expect too much as a rook. And McCain is another rookie flashing.
 
Jordan might not even be our best rookie LB I've been hearing more coming from camp about Chris McCain then Jordan.

The fact that only Dick Pepperwood ( I could do so much with that name!) agrees with him should speak volumes to the stupidity of the post.

While I like the rookie Tripp he has a long way to go yet! And then you mention Jordan who hasnt done anything yet either ! The only thing Jordan has done in camp has been against backups! Starters still have been pushing him around! And Tannenhill is going to be great as long as they get center exchanges worked out!

And Ireland was never a boss it should be said Ireland at a loss!

WV is officially a troll whose every thread is clearly started to gain reactions...and it works every time. Don't expect him to stop anytime soon unless the mods step in...I guess it's a time filler, so whatever.
