Jordon for kendricks

And who would trade for a suspended player?

Chip Kelly likes Jordon a lot, I would look into it

Not enough to trade a third the year prior to move up one though lol. I think Chip would take him for a second in a second.
I think Jordan has NFL potential just not as the stud that some people want to believe. We quite overdrafted him.
To that point I think we overdrafted James but I think he will be a solid NFL tackle , just solid is not what the first round is for in my opinion.
James was quite worthy of a second or third round pick in my opinion so he is not a scrub

We needed a decent OT and he wouldn't have lasted to the second round. Ja'Wuan was the best available to fit our system. What we want and what becomes available don't always match. I am increasingly comfortable in Hickey's decision to pull the trigger.

Im definitely not but it I what it is. We have no clue if he would have lasted to second round and there were other linemen that would have been. The key is to get the most out of your draft picks at least in my opinion. kind of like when we overdrafted Carey instead of taking Wilfork.
We had needs all along line and odds are a good prospect would still be there in second round possibly James. Im ok with the pick, I don't see it as a good use of a first round pick but if we had traded down and took him I would not have been unhappy. I just don't think James was so great that one fo the other guards later on would not have been just as good with drafting Turner later. I just found it funny before draft that people were like if you cant get one of the top tackles don't reach for one but when we did they were yea he is really good. james was never considered to be a top 20 pick until we took him.
I say we reached on tannehill also but qb is a different animal and there are only so few in each draft that can play in NFL as a starter.

I'd trade DJ to Philly for a 1st and Evan Mathis OG. chip Kelly does have a hard-on for DJ.

As long as Coyle and Philbin are retained The Phins will remain a 4-3 and DJ underutilized, almost draft failure.

Changing to a 3-4 doesn't make to much sense as Soliai is gone, and the Phins have develop quite a number of decent to very good 4-3 pass-rushing DE.

Tough call.

It's funny how the Dolphins always draft for need, like they are only a couple of players from making the playoffs. Playmakers get you to the playoffs, and for a Decade plus we pass on them for need players, and trade away our other playmakers. It's a sad Dude...

Youd get a 3rd and Mathis, at best.

I don't know about you but I feel alot better about the drafting after seeing the job Hickey and company did in the draft! Could we have forseen how it would turn out ? Probably not drafts are crap shoots alot of times anyways ! But it looks to me like Hickey and company did alot of good homework in these draft picks! And I feel much better about the way this team is going now that Ireland isn't around to screw up the drafts! It seems like everybody works together more!
