Jordyn Brooks Slams Dolphins for Poor Performance Versus Packers

The cold weather had nothing to do with it. 20 degrees is actually pretty comfortable to play in. No reason we had to dress up like home sick Eskimos, other than the fact we are soft pussies and it's all in our head.
Coach should have banned 90% of the gear they took. Only starters should have hand warmers while not on the field.

I was thinking the same thing, the way we handled the weather was just embarrassing.

I knew there would be a lot of anti-Tua stuff on here after a loss (so predictable) but I'm happy to see the defense getting called out. They were awful in that first half, and that must have been Armstead's worst game of the year.
That first touchdown was a nail in the coffin. We were just so soft and that is on one person, McDaniel.

You got the sense that the game was over the second Washington muffed the punt return. The Dolphins are clearly in their own heads when it comes to playing good teams in general, much less on the road and in the cold.

They play with no confidence whatsoever in these types of situations. Not sure what it’s going to take to get them over this hump, but they desperately need something to break their way in order for this to end.

The GM does not coach the team. He does not instill the teams "DNA" as far as the type team they become. Campbell in Detroit, guy's like Shula and Landry, didn't cancel training camp practices so his guy's could go clubbing. This is on the McCoach who seems to condone this 'soft' mentality. Thanks to guys like Seiler, Brooks, and Campbell there is some toughness on D, although nobody has a real good game. we got punched in the mouth and folded. Not scoring with 3 tries from inside the 5 is inexcusable, and not on the GM.

The coach's scheme doesn't help, but this team was incorrectly constructed. More practice doesn't mean an undersized Center and 2 under skilled OG's get enough push to punch it in from the 1 in Lambeau. Their highest paid players are undersized speed guys that are invisible in the RedZone.

What came first? The chicken or the egg? IOW, did Grier draft/ sign what McD wanted or what he thinks what McD should have? When Flor-ass was here we drafted tough players, now we draft smurfs.

The character of a team is determined by its leaders among the players, and unfortunately when your head coach's personality is only slightly different from Pee Wee Herman's, the players who will become leaders will be the ones most like the head coach (i.e., "the team takes on the personality of its coach") and not the tough ones. This is why the tougher players like Brooks are calling out the team like this -- they don't like being mired in a team culture of that nature and losing games because of it.

"But but...the OL is ranked 7th in the league!"

The mirage continues...

Ya, they ranked 7th by padding stats playing a bunch of scrubs. How'd that go last night?

I’ve said this all season that this team can’t tackle on defense and lack fundamentals. But everyone just keeps pointing to the Rams game and how great of a defense we are.
I’ve learned one thing about a lot of fans and posters here, they don’t really know what they’re actually watching. You could see the cracks starting to form against the Raiders and NE, they were there.
Seriously, that raiders game was alarming. They were driving down the field at damn will. They weren't that successful due to some pressure. Tonight, we have zero pressure. Jordan Love had all night to look good. He didn't even look that good. This game needs to be taken as a sign of changes to come.
