Josh Gordon, am I crazy?

Just hear me out.

Josh Gordon has a marijuana violation coming into the NFL and recently was suspended over cough medicine. Putting that aside. This guy has put up huge numbers withh 3 different QB's. Are you going to say Tanny is worse the Campbell, Weeden, and Hoyer? If not, then this dude is balling right now. He's under contract for 2 more years at his rookie deal. By the time you get to the end of his contract, you're able to get out of Wallace's ugly contract. Not giving away the farm, but I truly see Josh Gordon as a legit #1 Hey he had 140 yards on the Chiefs D.
 
Why?

What are they chances we get a better player in the 2nd round and what are the chances Ireland is still here after this year.

Daniel Thomas, Phillip Merling, Pat White, Chad Henne, Will Davis, Koa Misi, Jon Martin, Sean Smith have all been 2's

Only Misi and Smith have shown potential, and one is no longer with the team.

Our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th pick in this years draft can't even get active for a game.
 
We're not interested in talented football players. We're interested in pissing away second round draft picks on guys who can't even get on the field.

It would probably take more than just a 2nd. Ireland may just try something insane to save his ass but I don't see him trading for any skill position players.
 
That whole "one more strike" thing is a real downer for me, but I'd love to have him cheap. I just don't think that'll happen.
 
We do not need to make a season saving trade because there is nothing to save. Lets just get to our 6-10 record and hand our new GM/HC a top 10 pick to work with.

will Davis was a fourth. I think you meant Taylor. Either way neither of them contribute anything but taking up space

The Miami Herald reports the Dolphins won't make a play for Hakeem Nicks or Josh Gordon even after losing Brandon Gibson (knee) for the season.
Jeff Ireland has become one of the league's more aggressive — read: reckless — GMs, but has already leveraged his roster and payroll to the hilt. He doesn't have the ammo or salary-cap space to make a splash. With Miami's offense among the most uncreative in the league, it wouldn't be a good landing spot from a fantasy perspective for either Nicks or Gordon.
