Josh Shaw #95

this kid is god (shaw) i watched him in jax and i see a lot of upside from him .for a big and i mean big guy he can flat out move.he was in the backfield many of times and was not out of position to often.with shaws play i think vickerson may not make the cut.

Intresting tidbit for ya guys....he played at Michigan state 1998-2001.......I wonder who his coach was?

I saw #95 flash on the pass rush on one play in the first half, nearly recording a sack. At first I thought it was #75 Wright until I realized it had been far too much sustained energy level to be Wright.

I watched Shaw the rest of the game. He's not great but definitely a major cut above the typical preseason backup DTs we normally play during the 2nd half of preseason games. Plenty of intensity and occasionally a disruptive upfield burst. As someone else already posted, definitely a significant cut above the likes of Dario Romero.

During last game, Dario Romero is teh suck. There were so many plays that worked due to the face he couldn't stand his ground on the block. There were some plays which would of seemed tow ork better if he just fell down.

Didn't know that - Thanks! Hopefully that helps this kid out - he has played his butt off. I think he has earned a spot if it was just based on the actual games (which I know it's not). It would be a shame to see this kid get cut for wright because of someone's view of his potential. I don't see the desire and heart in Wright when he looks like he quits on plays. Shaw flat out hustles! I'd love to see Traylor and him line up in the middle. Now that's some beef!
