Do u guys think that saban will give a good look at JR. He def had some flashes of playmaker ability in past preseason even though he is on the practice squad.

ha! he's in carolina now? guess that pick didnt pan out well

that sucks i liked him, i guess i need to pay more attention

He was sure a stud @ San Diego State...I hope he does not turn in to another Ruben Droughns, a talent DW and RS could not foster while here.

:barf:

Tolver: very odd. His first preseason here he had flashes of high potential. Last preseason he looked like he was mailing it in.

I agree. But how do you expect ANYONE to look good or flourish in Wad-ball? I mean the offense we have been running the past 10 years has been, well offensive..to WATCH. And it was all started by the immortal Kippy Brown brought in by JJ. Way to go Jimmy!!

Don't forget the Godley Chris Feorster or what ever his name is.

Genius purely Genius:shakeno:

Even when Norv was here, we thought we had seen the light. But apparantly Coach Pornstache ripped out all the pages in his playbook except for the ones that had the following plays: Ricky up the Middle, Ricky to the Right, Ricky to the Left, Ricky Counter and 3 Yard Out to Chambers.

Yeah how sweet were some of our decisions with guys on the roster in the past????

Ayenbadejo instead of Droughns
Barron Tanner instead of Norman Hand
cutting Grey Ruegamer and Brent Smith and keeping any number of ****ty lineman
draft Fletcher instead of resigning Terrell Buckley
I'm sure I could go on, but I don't want to make myself sick over it.

No, I think Norv's playbook was pretty much intact. But, Norv was smart enough to not let Jay try anything deeper than a 3 yd out to Chambers (who, by the way, needed all his acrobatic skills to catch that 3yd out)

Of course, if Jay was doing well in a game and Norv got brave enough to try anything creative....Wannabe would just overrule him. After all, "punting the ball isnt a sin"

So glad he's gone. I think when he dies, they should put that on Pornstache's grave: "Punting is not a sin".

Tolver couldn't run a pattern consistently and was often out of place. He was given plenty of chances but he did not show any improvement or progress.

Funny you mention because when drafted he was praised as an excellent route runner in college but a step too slow. He made up for the lack of speed by running crisp routes. Another homerun by S&W!! :shakeno:

Meanwhile watch him go for 45 catches and 660 yds with 5 TD's for Carolina. :roflmao:
