JT might retire

Yeah, at news conference today Saban said he spoke with Jason and was told by Jason that he, "just needed to go and recharge his batteries." I'm not that worried. It's gonna happen eventually anyways.
 
JT: Nick I think I may retire. My body is just not up to this giving my all and then this.

Nick: Just go on vacation and come talk to me when I get Jared Allen on the other side of ya.

JT: OK. See ya round coach.

Its hard for a guy like JT to say "yeah im ready to do all of this again" right after the 2nd worst season the teams ever played since he's been here...
 
I think there are plenty of players who need to "re-charge their batteries" at this point in the season.

I wouldnt worry too much about it at this point.
 
I think JT and Zach retire at the same time. Just something I think. They are roughly the same age I believe. Atlhough..I could see Zach staying longer because it's Zach. I personally think it's great these guys are still playing at a pro bowl level considering their ages.

Pats fan here, after hearing this possibility, I have great respect for Jason Taylor. Evertyime he's playing the Pats he's the one guy who always gets in Tom Bradys head. Id love if this guy was playing for us.

Hope this rumor isnt true, i think hes got a lot left in his tank.

i dont see him retiring after he just may have had his best season ever as a fin
 
That would really suck if he did decide to retire. Taylor and Thomas are the heart of this entire team.
