Well, let's be honest. "I only want to play for one more year" is loosely translated: "I only want to play one more year, if I AM FORCED TO play for the Miami Dolphins."

Jason quit on the Dolphins after the 2007 season, and in some ways you can't blame the guy. However, now that he's in a situation that he deems "better" than Miami's situation, he's got that spark to finish out his contract. What's done is done, and hopefully Jason will be a distant memory by the 2008 season's end. Hopefully, we'll be talking about our new leaders and the bright future ahead.

I'm a MIAMI DOLPHINS fan and am anxious to see the reconstruction of this team and the development of the young talent.
In fact, my son and I are driving down to Davie from Orlando this weekend to watch the opening day of TC.
The presence or absence of JT has no effect, whatsoever, on my enthusiasm for this team.

I couldn't agree more. I'll definitely miss watching guys like JT and Zach, but I am so excited about the coming season, I can't wait... I'm stoked to watch Ricky and Ronnie, and am very intrigued by the QB debate - and I just want the best QB to win.

And I'm totally jealous of all you guys that live close to TC...I'm 5 minutes from Carolina Panthers' camp, and I can't even wait for that to start this weekend...Lol
 
I'm going to laugh so hard if we finish with a better season than the Skins. Not likely, but still.

Who cares? Junior Seau has also stayed around too long in he NFL.....hopefully JT will not do the same. He is no longer a Dolphin so whatever he chooses to do I wish him well.
 
JT may have quit.. but when you think we got him for a 3rd.. and got rid of him for a 2nd & a 6th.. plus all those great memories.. we should be very happy.

Nah, I don't think it's bitterness. We just want a high second round draft pick, that's all. ;)
 
hey, we will not miss a beat without him. JP moves over to rushing lb and will match/beat his production, if u ask me. plus, porter is even more bryan cox like attitude too.

hey, torbor will probably move to strongside olb with crowder and akin in the inside. we good. especially with all that cap space "plus" 2 second round picks next season.

now, i wonder if we will use some of that new found cap space to sign lecharles bentley?
 
It will be hard to get use to no JT or Zach, but I guess after a few wins I will be back to normal. It is now official we have no star players, at least not yet. I am sure curious about the product on the field this year, let's all be straight and understand we are starting from the bottom and don't bash the team when mistakes are made.

SOMETIMES YOU MUST DESTROY TO BUILD A STONGER FOUNDATION!!!
 
You know, with all the "marquee" players gone, its gonna be alot more exciting to watch the young guns step up and see who is gonna surprise us. Every game is gonna be that much more exciting. I smell something new in the air. I can't wait till the regular season starts, to see how many skulls this team is gonna crack.
