Hi Guys,

O.k, o.k, JT is back in the fold. Assuming we all agree that we are still in building mode, what does this do to the "development" of Cameron Wake?

Cameron now gets less playing time, but gets to learn from JT and progress that way.

My question is...... which is better for us in 2010?

a) Cameron playing full time. Or....
b) Cameron playing on and off, but learning from JT?

Tell me...

B. without a doubt....i see no issue here

b)

That way. Hold old is Wake? Certainly he could play sparingly this year and become more of an impact next year. I don't see JT staying for long.

Wake will play

A. when he bets out JT
B. JT retires either way its good.

Signing JT means Wake isn't everything he's cracked up to be. He needs time to develop to play in the NFL. And at 27 he needs to learn fast.

:err: How can you reach that conclusion based on the limited amount of exposure that he has had in our system?

By this FO signing JT. And the reports on Wake from his first mini in shorts w/ the team.

This will be good for Wake. now he wont have to shoulder the entire load in what is essentially his first year in the NFL. I love this signing, with an improved secondary and better pass rush, our defense is going to be really formidable.

Really... has he hit anyone yet...?

No but I can point to the fact he hasn't did a single thing in the NFL except being cut. Signed twice in the NFL, played no games and has been cut. Being a CFL player doesn't make you a NFL player. Especially a CFL Def. Player.

I am glad he is back. He only signed so he could retire a Dolphin. He will play and hopefully he will be good but I doubt he plans on sticking around long enough to worry about taking anyones job or holding up the job from anyone else.

Good news in my opinion.

Well, let me see....the reports on Wake were fine.
The more I think about it, the more the move makes sense.

We have to remember that Wake is no rookie. Maybe no time in NFL yet BUT, really, if he has been TEARING UP the CFL (which he HAS), I will assume that he will be fine in the NFL. Will he TEAR up the NFL??? I don't know, and I can't assume either way until the season starts.

Bill likes him means we should as well until proven otherwise. There is obviously something there.

I like the idea of him & JT fighting to make their mark with the fans.

It will be good for wake to be part of the NFL for a year and us to not have to depend on him. Not to say that he isn't going to play or be a part of this team. We just dont have to depend on him. I feel its both good for Wake and the Fins.

It makes him a reserve unstead of someone we have to count on. I dont think JT is going to be a 3 down guy this yr either.

Wake has not done anything in the NFL. Signing JT who has been a force at OLB and a Veteran leader back makes this team better. Wake can sit back and learn.
