JT Sports Illustrated article

wow...8 page article for JT....looks like he's gonna be a star long after he retires from football.

OK, I love JT but I couldn't even make it through the first page of that article.

LOL

GO PHINS~!

Just a long article about JT and what his plans are after football and his realationship with his wife. They also spoke about how opiniated JT is. The guy is a class act, and he has provided us with alot of good football.

Lol at his comment on Green better not get hit because he's scrambled eggs.

Maybe JT can star in another Ace Ventura movie! Here Snowflake, here snowflake!

Gotta love em.

On steriods: "If I was on the juice, oh man - I'd be illegal."

On friendship with Brady: "I love Tom but I'd sack my own mother on 3rd and 8."

Damn that was a long article. I wonder if Jason is going to be on the cover of SI and this article is the featured story. It's good to know that Jason and his wife Katina have patched everything up with their marriage and everything is going good for him.

I liked this part where Zach said:

"Trust me -- being in football, being in this locker room, there wouldn't have been many guys I'd have set her up with," Thomas says. "But Jason and I were good friends, and I knew what type of guy he was. And he was so damn shy. I tried to help."

Hard to believe that Jason was ever a shy kind of guy and he was intimidated by anyone. I guess it's just the good looking women that he has a problem with. :D

It's interesting how Jason had the best season of his career last year after he had the marriage problems ... and a fairly intense situation where a guy tried to attack him in a road rage incident, etc. I guess it just goes to show you that when adversity strikes and negative stuff happens, if you just stay focused and keep on going things will turn out alright ... maybe way better than expected.

It looks like Jason is good at channeling adversity into success. The team needs all of that we can get. Maybe his wife Katina should have a fight with him before each game or something to get him fired up ... he could have back to back NFL Defensive Player of the Year honors and maybe we could make it deep into the playoffs or something. :chuckle:

It sounds like Jason still has plenty of ambition and "fire in the belly" for the 2007 battles ahead. I bet he'll be plenty revved up for this season. I bet he wants this year to turn out way better than the NFL commentators think. It's probably better for us to be one of those "under the radar" teams that comes on really strong when it counts ... like the Steelers did in 2005 when they won the Super Bowl. Speaking of the Steelers, I bet both Jason and Joey Porter are going to have awesome seasons this year. Offensive teams are going to have to "pick their poison". They can't key on both of them. If they try to it'll open opportunities for the other guys. Maybe even JT's brother in law will get himself a good number of sacks this year. :D
