Let Lavar Arrington go to the Cleveland Browns. I think we are better off with Julian Peterson. Julian was recruited by Nick Saban, so he knows Saban's defense and will probably put in great work just for him.

I'm tired of reading these Lavar Arrington to Miami posts. The guy is overweight, slow, and can barely defend any passes.

Julian to Miami!!!
 
and Julian has two acl injuries...i'll take arrington anyday...

(and sadly, arrington would be cheaper...)
 
As long as we get either of them, I won't mind. We need to find a guy who has a sure-fire shot at starting at CB since Hill might project to safety and Goodman's a question mark considering what he did in Detroit. Some experienced OL depth may be also needed.

And Culpepper had to undergo ligament surgeries twice now. And last year, he tore 3 of his ligaments. Didn't stop us to trade for him eh?
 
Saban doesnt seem to think so.

I'd tend to trust Saban over you guys.

Culpepper = 3 mill, actually i think less then that.

Peterson wants to be the highest paid Linebacker in the game...and im NOT KIDDING.
 
I just hope Peterson doesn't sign with Seattle!
Also, getting off the subject CB Townsend is close to a deal with The Pats, Damn!

That's not good. We're the ones in need of veteran CB help.
 
I'd love to have LaVar over Julian on this one. I think he's a great pass rushing LB, in which case he'd work well with Saban's blitzes.
 
this is a tough debate considering injuries over personality... talent wise we can dispute as being two different style linebackers. Based on style alone ask yourself what the miami dolphins need in a linebacker. They have their middles with zack/channing and outside with JT. I say in this matter of thinking we would have to choose Peterson because we would need the speed to cover the other end of the field. Lavar fits to be a pass rushing linebacker, wereas Peterson can cover more ground. Yes he played with Saban before so thats always a plus.

However, as i think, i would want the less injury prone in Lavar and i feel that Lavar has alot to prove this year. He had a rough year last year and was seemed to be a conduct problem. I just feel that with Lavar he could also attack the qb with jt on the other side with 3 big DT being 5-5 everytime, and you have channing and zack drop back into coverage along with nick's style in the secondary which is a group effort, look at his LSU playbook and youll see.

In Conclusion... We need at least one of these guys for me to feel confident for playoffs. Cant wait for the draft either!:dolphins:
