Wilson was the highest rated undrafted player by most draft services the Dolphins signed. He is not being mentioned as often as Esera or even Parker from Arkansas. He could be a sleeper at the swing tackle position or he could move to guard like most folks think Esera will wind up. But he had a 4th round grade and was considered the best run blocking OT by Profootball Weekly. I just thought I would bring him up since he is not getting much mention.

Both Bruce and Wilson were the highest rated undrafted rookies the Dolphins picked up. Both are in need positions for the Dolphins as DE and OT. Behind Roth and Taylor we have no real depth at DE and the same regarding Carey and Shelton. So these guys have a shot at making an impact if they are any good. You have to ask why they were not drafted though as DE and OT are in high demand. Behavior problems or just slow upstairs. Lets hope we lucked out though. Bruce, K Smith, Booker, Satele, Beck and Ginn were mentioned last year in Lindy's top 10 college players to look out for in this years draft.

Wilson has been working at LT with the second team. While i know Toledo is injured dont be to surprise if he gets cut after back to back injuries......

I would be very surprised if a 4th rounder that showed enough promise that he looked like he would earn a starting job were to be cut before he can even complete his second year as a pro.

Maybe but he was hurt in college alot too. You can have all the talent in the world but it does not help if its injured sitting on the bench. Personally I beleive that he is injury prone and is going to be of little help to the Dolphins. Hope I am wrong and hope a darkhorse like Wilson emerges to make the decision easier. Alabi has been nicked up quite alot too for as little as he has played.

All Im saying the more time Toledo and Alabi miss, the more time a guy like Wilson can show what he has.... I was watching the OTA's on the main site and in drills they had Wilson at LT, Mormino at LG, Satele at C, Esera at RG and Rosenthal at RT......

yeah i hope not i like toledo to unseat shelton so we can save some money

Esera was rated pretty high, too. Some publications and websites had him just ahead of Wilson. Because of their size, Esera will move inside to OG, and Wilson will compete at OT.

Bruce had a 7th round grade, but I agree with ck. He could turn out to have the biggest impact of all our UDFAs.

I dont know about you guys, but I really like the youth Mueller has broght to the O-line. Satele, Mormino, Esera and Wilson could all end up staying for this team.

I believe that Satele (definitely), Wilson, Esera and Mormino will make the final roster. Satele and Esera will bring the best out of each other. Wilson, I heard and read from most of you, is highly rated and I read that Mormino is sort of a communicator on the line, something that Cam was attracted to, which is one of the reasons he was drafted. More detailed feedback is welcome from all.

We won't know much until the pads get on!!

:ninja:IMO we are all just bored and wasting our time trying to guess which "educated guesses" will work out. This weekend is another mini-camp still in shells. You really can't tell how physical a guy is until the pads come on. I sure hope the rookie class of offensive linemen has some talent. But I'm not making any predictions on who makes the squad until after I see them actually hitting each other.

For all of these Guys to make the team we will be cutting alot of people who were with us last year. we must have alot of oline busts then
