I know it's still WAY early (and the draft will affect this tremendously) and all but does anyone have any idea who might be some of the June 1st cuts for other teams around the league including ours?

The point of the June 1st cuts is that you can spread that cap hit over this year and next. 2 things will likely render this date as mostly irrelevant.

1) teams are allowed to cut players now and treat it as a post 6/1 cut and spread the cap hit over 2 years...so teams wouldn't necessarily have to wait on that date.

2) most teams are not in tight cap situations this year, most would have the room to make a cut and take the full cap hit this year and not push it into next year.

Alot of teams are in bad cap situations though. The Cards are the main one but teams like Denver always makes big cap cuts. Go to the NFL teams salaries and it would give you a pretty good idea of what teams will make moves. Other team may just cut players they don't need because they get better talent in the draft or think they do. BTW I expect Dalls to make some big name cuts as well if they pick up Chad Johnson or Pac-Man's contracts.

I'm almost 100% positive they said that if Dallas we're to trade for Pacman, he would signing a much lesser contract for less time.

No one think that Ike Taylor, Jeff Backus, Fabien Washington or Hines Ward is possibilities? Detroit, Pitt, and Oakland are in cap hell along with Arizona. I though that was a interesting read.

I seriously doubt Hines Ward would be IMO, or they would have been trying to get him to restructure a long time ago.

Thats a bit harsh isn't it. I have been a heavy critic of JA's but he deserves another year the way he finished last year IMO.

Naww, based on his play, especially his special teams play, and based on the
premium Parcells and company are placing on special teams, plus the other
safeties that they have signed...

Nope... :D

It wasn't his fault when he was a rookie hold-out he was trying to purchase that mansion in Georgia instead of worrying about football. Can we please cut him some slack for that simple fact alone.:D
