I know this has already been posted about us possibly being interested in him, but I just wantd to show you guys how productive he was this past season at 32 years old. he was the leading tackler on the Chargers this past season with 154 tackles. thats 8 less than Zach, but the next highest tackler was Randall Godfrey, and he only had 77. Edwards DOUBLED the next highest tackler on the team. i think that at age 33 and with a better overall defense around him, teams wouldnt know who to run at. like i said, i know this has already been discussed, but june 1st is only a couple days away, and i think Edwards, although not young, would be a great addition to our team.

how could he cost us future draft picks if he is released on June 1st???? and what is a s/t deal?

can we get him cheap and i think a s/t deal is a special teams deal

If he's cut June 1st, I say we sign him and start him. He is a solid starter not for special teams.

yea, i agree that brooks would be a good long term solution assuming he pans out, but edwards could be the missing piece to our defense.. and whoever said sign him to a special teams deal is just ignorant. i dont expect everyone to agree to signing him, but you cant argue his production... also Greatwade, how do you say he is small? he is the same weight as zach, but he is 3 inches taller, plus he is a lot faster. ALSO, he and zach will both be 33 this season. so, is zach too small and too old also?

How dare u say that about zach, zach is probably the best defender we have on this team even when injured for one or two games he still totally dominates the tackling stats for not only the dolphins but the league as well saying that he is to old and to small is an absolute disgrace u should be ashamed

I think that the "S/T" deal was actually referring to a sign and trade...

He will not be released june 1st.. the Chargers will wait till they can get something in a trade for him.
