I don't know about you guys, but I think Junior is done. I remember watching him the past 2 years and I never thought that he was any good. I always see him doing that gay "fake blitz", but he's really supposed to blitz and the QB is 5 yards in the backfield before he even hits the first lineman. He's a great emotional leader, no doubt, but he simply can't make the plays that he used to. We should be giving Donnie Spragan the nod over him, and begin the youth movement, because we all know this is Junior's last year with the Fins, and he'd be better suited in a teaching role than a playing role.

Thoughts??

I think he's been really good since he's been here...

I've also got a feeling that he'll stay healthy this year, play well and come back next year.

No. I think Seau should still start but due to his age I think we should let Spragan fill in for him for almost half the game. I say start Seau and split time between him and Spragan 50-50.

BTW- Awsome Avatar. Utley is the man, GO PHILS.

Hmm...that's interesting. I don't think he'll be back next year. But do you think he is better than Donnie Spragan at this point?

Yes. Its Seau, he has a motor man, he can lay the smack down. Like I said split time 50-50 and give Jr the start.

Hell yeah man, big series with the stros coming up.

But that's a good idea splitting time, because I do believe that he can help with the younger players. But man...I don't know how you guys like Seau...he just seems to be an anchor. Well that's the way he looked last year.

yup.. i think Junior could be very effective in this 3-4 if he holds up.

We've got guys that he can split snaps with - Crowder, Spragan, Moore... he'll get rest, but will be effective IMHO.

if he wasnt, he wouldnt be the starter

That's not true. I could give you about 20 examples, but it's not really worth the time.

I think he is still good and is a leader. He will not make it all year and I think this is his last year with the Phins. He will retire a Charger after this year!

I think you should reserve the "he has a motor" phrase for guys like Jason Taylor. Unless you mean he has the motor of a 68 caddy.

i disagree man...

Junior's definitely got a motor, he brings all he's got on every play, and his energy goes throught the whole team.

You're right...he does give it all he has....the thing is, he doesn't have much anymore. I think Saban will have Spragan starting by week 3. He already did the hard part, and that's putting the rookie in the starting lineup. He'll ease Seau out eventually too. I think Saban has Seau in the starting lineup because Saban essentially pulled Seau out of retirement, and I think he'd feel guilty putting him on the bench right away.
