We are all expecting to see Seau get cut anytime now, and it seems like the most logical move (cap-wise). Odds are, though, that as a FA not many teams would be willing to pick him up (because of his age) except maybe SD to retire him. I'm sure that Seau understands that his end is right around the corner and that the Dolphins are close to a legit chance at a Super Bowl. Now, I know Seau is old and a bit injury prone now, but the guy is still a beast. He plays with an intensity that's very very hard to match. Would there be a chance that if we sign Brees (thus giving us that legit chance at the SB) Junior will get signed back on with a cheap contract?

I don't see Seau coming back under any circumstance. Saban even said they need to get younger on defense.

thats true but you never know saban will look for the best player available. Junior is still a decent player and for the right price he will most likely be back for one more year.....

love the guy thought that he did so much good for our defense when healthy hes a great player and he rocks but i gotta do it

na na naa na, na na naa na, hey hey hey goodbye

I was getting tired of watching him blitz himself out of plays anyway.

You Have To Give Him As A+ In The Locker Room Though. I Would Say Bring Him Back And Let Him Retire A Super Bowl Champion.

I like Seau also. But 2nd year in a row on IR, 37 years old, won't be with us in 2006 even for the minimum. Moore should also be cut even w/ very little cap savings. Sometimes you just have to move on. Good thing this years LB class is very deep in talent.

I would like to see that happen. I think for the veteran minimum that would be a good deal. I doubt Seau could be a full-time starter, but he could still help teach the kids and contribute here and there.

I wouldnt mind haveing Seau back for another year.I dont think he will be but we will see.

Don't think he will be back. I don't think his body would hold up anyway, he is already like 100 years old in football years.

i like seau but hes gotta go, too many injuries getting old....we need some youth on the D so expect to see seau gone by tomorrow

I agree, as much as I'd like to see him come back at a reduced contract, he is probably gone
