im getting pretty frusturated :tantrum: because i think we only need 1 really good player to become complete and itll have to be a LB or a DB im sittin here and im lookin at donnie edwards and ty law and im thinkin how come we havent made a move on either of em i mean their both elite players and both are at positions we need to fill i kno ty law is a little pricey and donnie edwards isnt getting ne younger but their both great players and if we picked up either 1 of them i guarantee wed be up there with indy and pittsburgh

wat do u guys think ?

We should get tommey polley and ahmed plummer cause we can get them for much less

I think Donnie Edwards is a no brainer. Sign em' for 3 years and work with what we got from there. I don't want Ty Law. Ty Law is evil and I hope he gets far from the AFC east. Tired of him. I think our secondary will pleasantly surprise all Dolphans who don't realize what kind of talent we really got there. We do need the OLB though. We got solid depth there now and good situational guys but we need a starter there. I say we need this Donnie Edwards signing. The other issue on D to me is not the secondary. I think we need one more solid nose tackle for when Traylor gets tired and injured again. This will be critical for keeping a 3-4/4-3 balance.

there cant be a whole lot of room left with everyone weve sighned.

Well you gotta' understand that not all these guys make the 53 man roster. And there are still a few big name players who are willing to renegotiate like Taylor and Thomas so don't rule anything out yet.

Donnie Edwards is still San Diego property and it would take a first day pick to get him. Not to mention that he plays in the middle, and he's getting old. I also couldn't agree more about Ty Law. He used to be a great player, but now he's one of the most overrated players in the leauge.

As for the tile of this thread, I think that our roster is just as good as any in the leauge. You can't just pencil in Indy and Pitt to the Afc title game yet.

I thought Donnie was an OLB. Guess he is not a no brainer.

Law wants $10 mil a year so it'll never happen. Our secondary is actually looking good as is. Will Poole is back, Allen should be an instant starter, Daniels is more than capable of starting. Depth at cb is pretty good too. The safety position holds more doubt but I think we'll be ok. As far as Edwards, he's still a Charger unless they cut him so theres no way to pursue him yet.

I agree, I don't think each int he can get for you is worth a million bucks against your salary cap each year.
