1) The first question is to those who don't see Ted Ginn as more then a second option/second wide receiver. Why?

I have seen many threads go something like this. This team needs to find a #1 wide receiver Wah! Wah! Wah!, then they cross out Ted Ginn as been that #1 receiver. In my opinion, I really don't think its fair that you do that to a second year who only drop two passes his rookie(remembe Chambers and how we hated for his drop passes year in and year out, yet people were still saying he can be a #1 receiver and blaming the Qb's), he also ran amazing routes and basically did every thing he was ask for. Also teams even started double covering him on the field. With some accurate passes Ted Ginn can be a real dangerous weapon for us.

This is also to Henne fans out there, threads started popping up about Henne's work ethic, yet when someones mentions Beck's work ethic they get clobbered about how much that doesn't mean nothing. When reporters such as Salguero mentions How Beck looked better in camp(accuracy wise) you say his been biased. So If Henne comes in and look like total crap would you give him the same treatment as Beck? All I am saying let's be fair to both of them.

BTW I have bashed Henne before but at the end of the day If he or Beck turns out to be a great a QB its only helps the dolphins which the team I am rooting for. I am stopping the bashing until I see him play on the field.

Thank you. I'm hoping ALL fans of the Miami Dolphins will stop the bashing of players until they see them on the field...this year.

Agree on Ginn. He was the #9 overall pick. He SHOULD be given the opportunity to be your #1 WR.

As for Henne/Beck, I dont really put much stock into what reporters say until we get to TC, when it is a level playing field.

he also ran amazing routes
You sure about that?

The knock has been, he's got enough speed to be a # 1 WR, but at OSU he ran about three different routes for the Buckeyes. Now, I've heard too that he's got a good work ethic so I think he's trying to be that # 1 WR that we're hoping he can be. But by all accounts, he's not there just yet. I too, have high hopes for him in year two that he evolves into the position even more so he can become that well-rounded # 1 wideout that the # 9 pick in the draft should be.

Ginn will definitely be the number one receiver. He will be more polished this year, even though last year we was still very crisp. Plus on top of that he has been working with Beck in the off-season. This will definitely factor in who are going to be the starters come kickoff time. Big head start.

I don't like the terms #1 and #2 WR. You need to have two good receivers. I think will be good, especially if he lines up on the side of the field without a TE or SR. The extra space on the field means he can use his speed more.

I thought about it and I found it pretty pointless to bash them without knowing what they can do in the NFL.

Really? Let's see, from just the videos I've seen of Ted Ginn I have seen him run these routes. The 1 route or quick out. The 2 route or slant/quick slant. The 3 route or deep out. The 4 route or drag route. The 6 route or curl. The 7 route or post-corner. The 8 route or post route. The 9 route or fly.

Every analysis done on Ginn is that he is blazing fast, but not a polished route runner and has suspect hands. Not his fault he was drafted way too early by a bonehead, but he is the #1 perons to look to to be the #1 WR.

As for Beck and Henne comparisons - I wasn't aware that Beck attended the ROOKIE camp this weekend. If he didn't then, how could there be a comparison?

I'm obviously making the comparisons from last year rookie camp.

It's not that I don't think Ginn is a good #1 receiver. I think he could be a great #1. But at this time, I think he would make an amazing slot receiver, if we can add a top receiver to play #1

I don't agree with the 'suspect hands' idea. I didn't see him drop anything catchable last year.

Good route running can be learned, his physical traits can't. I'm sure Ginn's route running will be even more improved this year.

1. Tedd ginn has huge talent. And can be successful at any number receiver wise we put him at. He has shown is talent.

2. Beck has shown us nothing last season. Beck has to show me and the rest of the world that he is ready for the nfl. Im tired of people sayin he didnt have anybody to work with. We dont judge qbs off that assumption, but more importantly, production.
