you cant draft like this and not have it catch up with you.

OK. I'm lost.... are you saying they all suck?
Ronnie was good for us for most of his time here. Roth is a good pass rusher but a headcase. Jason allen well you got me thier. Pat white SUCKED. Culepper we traded for the OLD Culpepper. Ginn well who could have known. Beck was way to early to put him in thier NEVER should have played in 07. Jake long is a HOF LT for the most part. Merling is ok not the best but solid. VD is good and getting better, Smith is a solid player.

So whats your point? New regime next year could still follow the same suite.

dude thats 5 years of 1st and 2nd round picks and we got a LT and a really good #2 corner out of it. as for ronnie, he was good, but he was what? the 3rd overall pick in the draft? didnt live up to it

Do you honestly think any serious, non-casual Dolphins fans had forgotten?

everyone is chucking sparano under the bus and i agree he has to go, but look at the roster he coaches. not exactly oozing with talent

Smith is a solid player.

come on dude...the only reason sean smith is the nfl right now is because he's a 6'3". he has 1 career int and it was that cinncy game where palmer hit him in the numbers.

Look he is solid. He played very well last year when playing w/ VD. I am not gonna throw the guy out just b/c he doesn't get picks.

Naw.. I gotta disagree.. we may not be the most talented bunch, but with the proper coaching system in place, we should be good enough for a play off appearance.. and to further my point, Tony has kept some garbage players while cutting some with talent.. So he contributed to making the bed..

Just for fun, what could have been:

2005
1. Aaron Rodgers
2. Vincent Jackson

2006
1. Nick Mangold
2. Devin Hester

2007
1. Darrelle Revis
2. LaMarr Woodley

2008
1. Jake Long
2. DeSean Jackson

2009
1.Clay Matthews
2. LeSean McCoy
2. Mike Wallace

its time to take the glasses off and put down the cool-aid

this franchise is in bad shape bro from the top to the bottom. we have 5-6 players the rest of the league would be interested in and thats about it.

With the Ginn comment if memory serves me correctly he was slotted to go in the 20's and we picked him at at 8? Thats a MAJOR reach.

Most of them do, yes. Long is a franchise LT but what else is there? Ronnie had some good plays with the Dolphins but was never a star that lived up to where he was drafted. Ginn was drafted too eaerly. Allen is worthless. Roth hasn't done anything. Culpepper should've been Brees. Pat White sucks. John Beck sucks. Vontae Davis is decent but not fantastic. Merling is average at best. Sean Smith has the size but plays like a *****.

Translation? Far too many swings and misses

thats pretty much the point...yeah, we got the LT out of that deal, but he's a LT. i would take several of those guys over long.
