Not sure I get the point it was well documented a couple years ago our drafts have been substandard.... the only players left on the team prior t0 2005 are JT and Vernon Carey. I'd expect a little more homegrown talent than that on the roster.

i know you said just for fun, and i know every team can look back after the fact and say who they could have gotten.

But how do we pass on aaron rodgers in 05? we needed a qb pretty badly, it had been 5 years since marino departed, and we have rodgers their at 2nd overall for us to take, and we take a runningback?

unless your a running back like a barry sanders type guy, adrian peterson, etc, its not worth taking that early. running backs lifespan in the nfl are really short.

And people wonder why we want to SUCK FOR LUCK. I won't cheer losses (though I'll secretly be happy with them!), but I can't blame fans who do. At least their heart is in the right place, which is the future of this team. Haven't won a playoff game since 2000, haven't been to AFC Championship Game since January 1993, SB since 1984...you get the picture. Only 2 seasons above .500 since 2004. This once top franchise has fallen into the gutter while the Packers and Steelers remain great organizations.

I want 2-14. We need more than a QB, but drafting a big time QB prospect in the 1st round for the first time in a loooong time would be a step in the right direction.
