Just 13 days left till training camp. Who else is excited? I can't wait to see our rookies out there playing. Anyone know if beck is going to get playing time during preseason? Beck and Booker together that's a pretty cool thought. Hmm I also wonder, since they usually switch out most of the team after half-time, if Ginn is gonna start at returner or come in during half.

I MEANT PRE-SEASON. I was watching the training camp highlights my mistake. :goof:

Did you mean training camp or Pre-season games? Training camp started yesterday morning, Dude...

I'm pretty excited too. I'm looking forward to seeing what Ginn, Beck, and Lorenzo can do in the preseason games. They'll all get some playing time I'm sure. In fact, I bet they only play Trent Green one quarter and let Lemon and Beck play the rest. Same thing with Ginn and Lorenzo. Since Wes Welker was our main return guy last year and I can't think of anyone else good at it so far, I expect Ginn to be our return guy right away for the season opener against the Skins. He'll probably rip off a 40+ yarder in one of the first few games and have that job locked up in no time.

Speaking of Ginn, I bet Beck is already fantasizing about making monster plays with him in the next few years. Ginn said in an interview they already talk to each other a lot about the playbook and so forth. I hear Beck is good at those timing routes ... anticipation throws they said during the draft. If he can master that with Ted along with some deep balls, they could make a heck of team down the road .... a la Montana/Rice or Aikman/Irvin maybe ... and Marino/Marks Brothers of course. :D
