Dosen't mean he'll automatically run for 150+ Yards and, say, 3 touchdowns.
Ronnie Brown is our clear cut starter, and today he showed why he is. He fumbled it, so what. Everybody does. He was probably tired after that run and the smash hit by Clements.

Ronnie Brown is our running back. Ricky Williams is not....just yet.

Ronnie had a great game today.

No one can pin the loss on him. Everyone fumbles every once in a while.

...I do know this for sure though. I would NOT want to be a Dolphins player in practice THIS week. :shakeno:

Ricky and Ronnie will be in there together quite a bit.

I thought Ronnie was excellent today. I'm not going to get mad at him for (possibly) fumbling while trying to make something happen.

Ricky's biggest knock has always been fumbling anyway.

I think Ronnie should remain the starter without question.

Somebody will and that fumble was a BS call. But he showed us why we drafted him.

We wouldn't have even been close to pulling that out without Ronnie. To blame him for a loss would be crazy. The truth is, he had some incredible runs today, and I am flat out amazed at how hard it is to bring him down. I would blame the thing on Frerotte's throw it in the air and hope it goes anywhere near my guy play, but he was very poised that last drive and was really about to get us a W.

Good post. I am also very excited about Ricky being back next week and I think the team will definitley improve but dont expect him to perform miracles.

He cant prevent all the penalties we had today, he cant prevent the interceptions, even he will make an occasional mistake. He is another big weapon but even that doesnt help if we are shooting ourselves in the foot.
