I just booked my flight. I will be in town for the Vikings game.

But I also just found out that my cousin and the whole family will be at some NASCAR race. So It looks like I will be going to the game alone..

Hopefully I can meet a few Fins fans and tailgate.


This will be my first Fin Home game since the first year of JRS. I was at the game against the jets when Dwight Stevenson got injured.
 
That is awesome. My wife and I will be there. We are flying in from Wisconsin for our honeymoon. Unfortunately she is a Vikings fan. It would be cool to meet up with others and do some tailgating before the game.
 
this is so awesome, my wife got me and her tickets for the vikes game and reservations at Shula's steak house for Sunday night after game. we are flying in from Ohio. so cool, we went shopping yesterday for a new hat and jersey for the game. had to go with c-pepp considering we are going against the vikes. where are your guys tickets at? we are going to be in section 142 row 18 on the 50 yard line behind the Dolphins bench. cant wait!! this is x-mas present this year.

Any suggestions on hotels in Miami? I figure Miami Beach is probably the best spot to stay, but I've been wrong before
 
Cool I am going to only because I don't have school the following day :)
 
What should I do about tickets?

Should I scalp at the game? Or buy them online?

i'd say buy your tickets online, just because from what i've seen scalpers will charge you a boat loud of money plus you're not garruntee'd anything. As for the hotel, i'd say the Hard Rock would probally be a good place, right off the highway not far from the game and not too far from the beach/downtown ftlauderdale. i'd assume miami beach would be a lot more expensive.

It all depends on how much cheese you are willing to spend....Miami has it all from the crappy motels on 8th Street to the Ritz on the Beach.
