....now I know what it feels like to be a Arizona Cardinals fan.....and it's not fun. :(

5 years of no playoffs, and no realistic chance for 2 more years after this one. That is nearly a decade of losing. Will the Dolphins fan base be so bad by then, that Huzienga loses interest and he sells the team ? I'm sure his profits from Dolphins merchandise is already taking a nose-dive. You know it's all about the money with him.........

how about the jets, remember those guys when big dan was around winning every year nine or ten games, this is what it is to be a jets fan

Yeah, but at least they have a built in fan base.....our fans are more fickle here, and when the empty seats become automatic, Huizenga may lose interest, and that would mean he might sell....and that could mean we could get someone like Irsay, Mike Brown or Bill Bidwell. Those guys were infamous for not spending money, and didn't care if the team won or lost.

Saban & his 23 coaches are costing a sh*tload of overhead $$$$. That is cutting into any profit that Huizenga is making. As I said before, its all about the $$$$ with him.

Give it time fellas, it's like how the Bengals were, believe me, I hear it from enough fans, it's a process, a year to find out who Saban's players will be, a year to draft well and hopefully develop a QB, then hopefully make a run at the playoffs - see the Marvin Lewis model. It's gonna take some time, but if we give Saban a fair shot, I see a playoff appearance not too far away. Just take it week to week and enjoy the games, that's really all you can do for this year, just stay positive and we'll get back on the right track.

It's all just so depressing. I love the Fins, but I was hoping for so much more with Saban, and now I am afraid we are on that same treadmill that so many other teams have been on for so long.....with revolving players, coaches and endless numbers of losing seasons.

patience people. patience. We know this would be like it's happening

Yeah but those two wins sure made me think it would be sooner rather than later. I guess I was a fool for believing.

I agree it is depressing, but I do believe that Saban will get this team on the right track, we have one of if not the oldest defense in the league and we have the young talent on defense, obviously another draft/FA period won't hurt. But we need to give Saban time to get his QB and his types of players to run his defense. The players he brought in were to make the team competitive this year, but that can only go so far, likewise having an average QB will only drive the offense so far as well. It's a rebuiliding process whether we like it or not. We've got some corenstone pieces in place (Brown, McMichael, Crowder?) we just need more time - enjoy this season for what it is, the real excitement will come in due time.

me either man..we just have to get back to reality. I have some hope because I feel we have some strong pieces and some real bad spots. All we gotta do is to have another offseason to fill them.

Yeah, you guys are right, but it's so hard to feel anything but humbled and depressed. I didn't want to really believe we were that bad, but damn....we are.

I want Sage to start but I think Saban is too stubborn to change for at least 2 more weeks.
