Just Finished Watching Jets Game And I Am Truely Afraid...

Well, I hope the Jets win a few games. I'm not crazy about the idea of them getting a crack at Logan Thomas, Matt Barkley or even Tyler Wilson.

The Jets have about as good a shot at getting Barkley as the Dolphins did Luck.

You have nothing to worry about, we'll be drafting in the bottom half of the first round.

The bottom half of first round? So what makes you think that with the team you have? At best I see 8-8. What do you see? 10-11 wins? with your wr's, rb's and oline? oh I forgot, your qb's?

What you have to worry about isn't necessarily them getting the #1 pick. What you have to worry about is them simply getting within range of a trade. And that could easily happen.

There have been ELEVEN quarterbacks taken high, whether it be in the 1st round or the high 2nd round, of the last three Drafts. TEN of those guys will still be alive with their teams no matter how well or poorly they do in 2012. You can say that the Jags might be ready to ditch Blaine Gabbert by the 2013 Draft but I think it still unlikely.

That's damn near one-third of the league, all of which have the potential to be bad, yet still have no interest in a quarterback. That could lead to a buyer's market when it comes to the idea of trading up for a quarterback.

Well if that's the case, hopefully you won't swoop in on any one we have targeted a few picks later, like we did with you with Odrich. :idk:

Who cares? I'm amazed at how many think Barkley is the next John Elway. He may be a nice prospect, but look how many USC QB's have been mediocre or bad in the NFL that many were hot on.
Now Barkley may be the exception, but I wouldn't trade Ryan Tannehill for him right now.

You're evaluating his odds of success based on the school he attends?

That's like saying that because Steve Young went to BYU and is a Hall of Famer, John Beck should have been, too.

We have our QB so unless disastrous injury happens we won't be looking for one.

I see a range of 9-11 wins. It depends on the OL, if it holds up I think we'll be contenders. I think our D will be the best we have had since 2009, we have an excellent coaching staff, Tebow will help provide another weapon, I expect sanchez to bounce back.

lets hope for the jets to start out the season 0-12 before winning 3 out of the remaining 4 pointless games to finish the year. there are too many variables in the nfl to determine, in august, that a team will get the #1 pick. Unless you mail it in (like the Colts did for Luck) i wouldn't worry about it. it would be a beautiful season if the Jets win 3 or 4 games, Santonio would be barking, the duel QBs would be at each others throats, all of NY would hate Tony Sparano again, and Ryan's boisterous ways would likely be s--- canned. I would freaking love that, oh yeah and the Jets get the #3 pick in the draft...
