Matt Flynn was NOT tagged. I never thought he would be tagged, but many here, writers in Green Bay and the Blowhard Jason Cole thought he would be tagged.

Now that he is he free, I would work hard to sign Manning within a small window. If Manning balked, I would move to Flynn.

Manning fires me up to no end. Flynn gives me hope for the future.
 
It is Philbin's call, and I'm positive he knows more about Flynn than I do, but I just don't see Flynn being our guy. I would rather have Moore than Flynn. I see essentially the same quarterback in the two, while Flynn has less experience
 
I want Manning, but would be still be interested in what Flynn could do.

You guys are correct about Philbin certainly knows.

There are three outcomes that I wouldn't be mad about.

I would LOVE to get RGIII or Luck
I would LIKE to get Peyton Manning
I wouldn't mind having Moore
I don't want Flynn

There isn't a lot of evidence for Flynn in the NFL, but from what I have seen, I really don't believe in him as our starter.

so he hasn't started many games in the NFL but you don't know if Manning will ever be the same again and RG3 hasn't started a single game in the NFL yet.....I get what you're saying but by your logic, we should not go after either of the 3 guys.

No. I would put Moore, Manning and Griffin ahead of Flynn is what I am saying.

And simply put, I am not impressed with Flynn, whereas I am impressed with the other three.
 
I'd be happy with any of them. I think they each bring their own upside. It might be easy for people to say nay to Manning, but once the dude comes to the LOS and uses that clock and makes big plays when you need them most, you will forget about him being 36. The guy just knows a defenses weakness and knows how to get the ball to many different players.

Flynn I believe has the WCO down in the progressions and can hit the big play when needed.

RG3 is RG3. Exciting.
 
the best thing about all this is, is whoever the starter is he will be better than the opening day starter last year
 
I find it interesting today on total access la canfora did not mention Miami once when talking about Matt Flynn not being tagged.
 
The fins need a QB that can control B-Marsh, and keep him being a pro-bowler, Flynn has no leverage in this deal, so if they don't get flynn won't y'all please don't act if though they didn't get Drew Breese.
 
Flynn is a potential upgrade AND Marshall was begging Flynn to come to Miami at the Pro Bowl.
 
If Ireland, based on Philbin's assessment, goes hard after Flynn, then I'm excited about him, because of what that means. Objectively, it's hard to know, but we have the most qualified guy in the NFL to make that assessment, so I have to defer to him.

If he's lukewarm about him, then I say either the Manning / Tannehill combo platter (wouldn't want one without the other), or throw the kitchen sink at the Rams and get RG3.
