Just got back from Miami

Went to my first game, finally! I thought the half time show for Dan was fantastic and it was great to be able to see all the Hall of Fame Dolphins in attendance. Miami fans were super and I was glad to see that even the guys cheering for the Falcons were not unduely hasseled.

Ronnie and Ricky looked great but some of the play calls left everybody wondering. Half wanted to see a Vick run but the D held him nicely in check.
Sad to say Gus looked worse in person than on TV. Geez, the guy even sucked in warmups!
What is going on with that?:confused:

Anyway, my son and I had a fantastic time. Highly recommend a trip to other out of town fans and high to the guy sitting beside me who attended the fins first practice and has been a ticket holder for 40 years. He made my son and I feel welcomed and had some good stories.:)

I hope you had a great time! Im going there this week for the New England game. We are staying the week so I'll take any pointers on where or where not to go. Too bad the fins lost when you went. I hope things turn out a little better this week. Go Dolphins!

I had my son with me so we didn't do too much other than hang out at the beach and pool. I did take a drive out to the Stadium and Pro shop on the Saturday. Use the Turnpike it takes you right into the stadium. The interstates there require you to be EXACTLY in the proper lane and come up on you real fast, so pay attention as some signs are still down from the hurricane. That test drive on Saturday made it much easier in the traffic Sunday to get to the game. My only adivce is go early and enjoy the fans and the atmosphere and have fun! Oh and don't drive up A1A through Broward it has a lot of lights down or out and they expect you to know to stop where a light used to be - good luck on that one!

well we arent driving but I would love to get a Ronnie Brown Jersey. Flying in and have a condo on Miami beach so just cabs and air busses. Glad you two had a good time sorry about the lack of Gus in the air. I hate the goverment too my friend. People complain because Im not a proud Canadian. You eat a 15% tax and I will gladly live in South Florida and pay Health Insurance!

:evil: :) Glad you were able to make it to the game. I had tickets for the K.C. game and flying in from California, but Wilma messed thing up, and had to cancel the trip. Last time I did it we a great tailgate party and also felt welcomed by all the people there.
