Okay guys i just got back from the game .. and half of the people on here are ridiuclous. brown is a bust and chambers sucks?
chambers was double teamed til the 4th quarter

ronnie played a good game he ran hard whenever they opened the hole up for him

he jumped on the fumble and he is very aware of everything

sure caddy is gonna be perfect fit for tampa because he is instant success but once ronnie gets some more time in he will be fine

he did miss a lot of camp
 
Brown does not suck....and neither does CC, but Chamber has to start playing like a #1 receiver. There was not excuse for dropping that ball that hit him in the numbers. And Ronnie will improve, of course, but he needs to stop hesitating out there.. And if you get the chance to see the game on TV you will notice that he even hesitated when he fumbled/drop that ball.
 
by the way he was carrying people today on his back

wow an American that dont think RB is a bust
 
i realize that i know he hesitates but it was his 2nd game at a packed jets stadium and i mean packed
 
Ronnie Brown had an acceptable day considering he had very little preparation in terms of preseason and it's his second professional game.

Looking around the league, Jamal Lewis, Kevin Jones, Willis McGahee, Curtis Martin, and Corey Dillon are backs that come to mind that had horrible games. Those who watched the game know that Brown had absolutely nowhere to run, and occasionally found his own hole. The guy has a ton of potential and he WILL be a star. I have no doubts about that. He's a fantastic blocker - if this were last year, Gus would've been sacked 10 times.
 
Well, Chambers dropped a pefect, wide open 18yd pass into his numbers on a crucial 2nd and 20, making this the second game he's dropped very catchable pass/es.

And yeah, its early to judge Ronnie, but you cant blame people for being concerned. This guy is a huge chunk of our cap space for the foreseeable future. And it would really hurt our rebuilding process to pay for a guy wo doesnt become a premiere NFL RB. Plus, on the fumble he hesitated and then tried to pick the ball up instead of falling on it. It was very bizarre as he seemed to just stand there staring at it for a second.

I guess the real problem is that the receivers made some great catches last week, and couldn't replicate it this week...The trend we see here is how really bad Gus is...

Brown, like any other RB needs a hole to go thru if he is going to be successful...

The Jests exposed our secondary and look for other teams to do the same.

CC has not looked like he is going to have the breakout year that we hoped...he is flat for some reason and has had a few balls that were catchable, although difficult, that he should have gotten...

some of our fans suck, we need to support these guys now, we dont need 20k jets fans at dolphins stadium in december, no wonder why we cant sell out, man this fan base is spoiled, gut it up
 
It's early and I think the offense will get better as the season goes on. The secondary is a huge question mark because someone with a great throwing offense such as KC I think can rip us apart which is not a good sign considering were trying to get things in set to become contenders within a few years.
 
Ronnie Brown will be fine. ricky is going to be our guy come week 5. RB is going to be used differently than most RB's when Ricky arrives.

I support those who deserve support. I do not when they make mistakes consistantly and do not improve or earn their paycheck.

I agree with the fan support. I know this, if I were living in S. Florida, I would be a season ticket holder and would make it to every game even in last years season. But I cannot accept poor play from veteran players who make tons of money.

Ronnie Brown will be fine, he should get some time to acclamate to the week to week of the NFL. CC needs to step it up. I say he sucks right now, but I am not sitting here saying "I hope he sucks next week" so i can tell everyone how right I was.
 
Playing in front of a packed house as an excuse for anything? Welcome to the bigs baby. He played in college and played some big schools. If the kid can't handle the pressure of the atmosphere, he just isn't bigtime. Look at Kyle Orton, he looks VERY comfortable on the field and plays like he knows his position. Ronnie Brown should understand his, he played what position at Auburn? The kid just doesn't show that he is mentally ready for the pounding that he is going to take.

u see the fight in the upper deck...o and how much are jet fans a**holes. i hate fire man ed and every other jet fan there
