WHEN payton comes to play for the dolphins this year what would you give him as far as $$$ and years of the contract.personally i would do 10.5 million a year for 3 years with 15 million sighn on .not sure if this would work but thats what i would do

3 years 60mill(30)guarnteed, with the 4th year a team option!

its going to take a hell of a lot more than that

4years at 15mil so 60mil and 30mil guarnteed............

He is going to get 3-4 years @ 24-28M per year total with injury and performance clauses IMHO. It will be steep, but there will be cap protections in case his neck injury causes him to go on IR or retire.

Money isn't going to be the biggest issue

A better question is how much power would you give Manning in order to get him here ?

He will almost certainly want a big say in the offensive scheme we run so Sherman and Philbin may need to be flexible here and Sherman may have to concede some control

He may well also want a say in personnel. For example he may demand a strong push to spend $$ and high draft picks on the OL at the expense of other areas of the team

I would think the team that bends over backwards the most is the team that will win the Manning auction

I dont think spending money on oline is a problem here. Once they sign him i think our first pick in the draft will be a RT

I would give PAYTON anything other than a kick in the nuts.. Now Peyton, give the bank to!
