After reading the Q & A with Alex Marvez, I wonder if Will Poole can start at safety. Alex was saying he might move to safety. That could leave the starting secondary as Will Allen and Travis Daniels at cornerback and Will Poole and Jason Allen at safety. I wouldn't mind that at all. That would possibly put their four best players in the secondary out on the field together.

I think that's what it will be too, but the idea of having Poole at saftey is intriguing because he always seemed to be around the ball in college and he got a lot of picks, so he's got good hands. I'm not sure how smooth the transition to saftey would be though. Either way, we've got a lot of potential in the secondary.

He also doesn't have the 4.3 speed you look for in a corner, which is why he slipped on draft day. He might not have blazing speed but he seems to have enough to get the job done, especially in a system that plays a little more zone coverage and doesn't put it's corners on an island like Bates's did with Madison and Surtain.
