I keep reading that people think that Ryan has no room left to grow, he is what we have seen, he has hit his ceiling. Why?

I mean why is that the feeling that you get about him? He constantly progressed up until this year, and yet he still has shown greater ability in the longer passes but that's where the road ends?

You honestly believe that getting an experienced coach and improving the offensive line does nothing for him?

What I think of when I read this type of thought process is like saying that your son is just stupid. Getting him a tutor or switching to a different teacher isn't going to do anything, he is just stupid and is incapable of getting any smarter. Just accept it and move on...

Does that logic make any sense when applied to that way of thinking? I mean seriously. Why does anyone get the impression that he cannot improve from improving things around him?

I'm not looking for heat upon my thoughts, but simply an answer as to why you honestly believe this is it and doing anything of the sort does nothing to help him improve...

Brozef, take a chill pill, you r obsessively in love with Tannehill. Fans r tired of his inept arse, thar's the bottom. Its like food, who am I to tell you what to like and what not to like!

Getting him a tutor might help him do better in school but are you going to be disappointed when he settles for janitorial job?

And just like that the maturity of those who feel the need to show their ass make an appearance.

Can't even just keep scrolling and keep your thoughts to yourself.

I asked for honest and clear input and yet you are incapable of doing even that.

Sad...

He needs a Oline...any Oline.....thats the end of the discussion as far as Im concerned.

Everyone blows. He makes some terrible decisions but so does EVERYONE else, incl. coaches and FO... Only position I'm not completely worried about is RB unless we lose Miller

It's an argument that has divided the board and both sides aren't relenting. I am on the side that Tannehill has put up numbers despite serous adversity that proves he can be a viable qb in the NFL. He does have his limitations but i have seen him improve yearly. Last year it was the deep ball. Before that it was footwork. This year there has been so much instability with coaching and line play, you can't fully grade him out, yet he has once again thrown over 20 td's and is nearing 4k yards. Is he a top 5 qb. No. Can he be a top 12, yes.

People want a guy that is going to succeed no matter what. A guy that will extend plays despite a horrific, not bad, but pathetic line. A guy that comes probably once a decade. I just fail to believe that ANY qb would succeed in miami with the coaching carousel and continual line deficiencies. That being said, I DO believe that if you fixed the line and brought in a few capable lb's and another solid corner, this team would be markedly better. It is amazing what happens to players abilities when a team is WINNING.

Ryan Tannehill is capable of being a 30 td guy and wining 10 games or so a year. What he isn't is a game changing qb who can put a team on his back and single handedly win games. He needs talent around him to succeed as most teams do. I don't believe he has hit his ceiling but will need the right coach to bring it out of him. I would be happy seeing Miami address key deficiencies this offseason and giving him one more year at it. If he doesn't improve next year then it's time to move on. What we have on the roster isn't a one year fix anyway. This is going to be a 2-3 year fix if we want to beat the New Englands of the NFL.

Id add WR to that mix as well...I think we are good there as well!

Hes a franchise qb it will either be realized in miami or somewhere else...for his well being id lean somewhere else

You make a great and valid point.. But i ask you in all seriousness, how many of those 30tds would you consider garbage time.. Because all bias aside I'd say a third, or at least a quarter of his "activity", has come in garbage time when the d is playing soft.

Watch him go to NE to back up brady for 2-3 more years and be a thorn in dolphins side for the next 5....

I was on the fence about labeling them, but too many balls are dropped. Passes have to be almost perfect for our receivers to be able to catch them, for the most part.

There's a stigma on this team. Yes, the WRs are a significant upgrade over last year, but This year they typically have not made clutch catches

Is Ryan the only one who is privileged to garbage time? Perhaps if the defense didn't act as a doormat, there would be less of this garbage time...

On a responsive note I would say that probably, 5 or 6 have came in that amount of time.

I would actually love to see that, call it cold justice but I would find it funny as f***. Keeping the place that treated you like absolute s*** out of the playoffs and giving them trouble for years.

Sorry, but it would be funny...

He's never improved his performances in big games. They are always garbage. Playoffs on the line 2 years in a row and he played awful in all the games we had a chance to clinch a spot. He doesn't have the winners gene. His college and pro careers make that clear. But we keep wasting seasons and churning coaches because the FO won't admit they made a mistake.
