Okay, this is a Brock Berlin thread. Not a "Start Brock Berlin" thread or "Cut Berlin" thread. I just need to know. Did you think Brock would actually do a good job in the HOF game?

I think he did a very good job, except for the int (of course). He showed pocket awarness, and some leadership there. I dont think he will make the roster though. I see him as probably going to Europe. I wish the kid well.

Agreed. I just say get him on the PS and allocate him to NFLEL. I don't want him being signed to another team and he turns out to be a stud (a la Brian Griese).:)

After watching him play ever one of his college games at U of M, no, I would have laid money on him stinking up the field. I was very surprised and thougt he did an outstanding job in the game, especially considering that he probably had very few snaps leading up to the game.

He played well I was surprised he could be a good back up.

hopefully he'll be the next Tom Brady, not do much in college than just tear up the nfl.

lol who am I kidding

same here, I was very surprised, pleasently mind you, but surprised. He looked good but if you think about when he was playing and who was on the field, the talent level around him wasn't to far off his days at the U.

Not to be super negative, buuuuuut...

I don't understand why everyone is so impressed with this kid's one game. He played against 4th stringers in an unimportant game. The last interception was a GIANT mistake. Even in college, if you're 3 points down and close to field goal range, its ok to take a shot at the endzone but NOT if the reciever is double covered. That's not a rookie mistake, that's a high school mistake.

We've all probably seen alot of Berlin at UM. The consensus opinion was that he wasn't very good. Now after one QUARTER against a 4th string team that only had 5 wins last year, people think he can be the next Brady? I don't see it. His interception wasn't even under pressure, like most of Feely's last year.

That's all cool. I meant for this to be neutral ground. All (constructive) criticism is welcomed.

But even the best QB's make high school mistakes. But the mistake he did was actually locking on a receiver. Needs to learn to look around for more options.

However, what I did like was the fact he was rather poised, no? And he didn't spend too much time in the pocket and make himself an immobile doll. He has lots to learn, but if he keeps on playing that, I say put him on PS and allocate him to Europe.
