That man is hungry. He almost slipped into disrespect of Matt Morre like an earlier interview, but he pulled back right away and said Ross and Ireland have said they want to look into competition for him (Matt) next year and we will see where it goes. He hyped and was excited about 100 catches next season and basically said bring it and I will do it when Philbin was mentioned. Also said we need to bring in a young WR when asked how to upgrade the position. I took it as he needs some D pressure taken off him to do that. Then went PC on respect for our receivers, not that they don't deserve it. I was in Bronco country when he blew it up every season and was electric. We get a QB that can get him the ball, most will get that QB uniform. I will get my Marshall uniform finally.

why is everyone thinking marshall wants moore gone now?

wasnt it brandon himself around game 14 last year who PUBLICALLY said "matt is ballin, he is the reason this team has this spark"!

as well as several other team mates.

plus, matt actually threw him the ball [something henne was to afraid to do] and made brandon look like the star he was in denver [now he just has to hold on to those td passes matt chucks him!!]

either brandon is finally slipping over some folks are mis reading what he is saying.

again, THINK! of all the people on offense last year, who benefited the most from matt moore?

bess? nope. he had a lowely year as henne was gone and every other pass wasnt a short dump off to him.

hartline? pretty much a ghost for some wierd reason.

brandon marshall? ding ding ding ding DING!!!! the guy who all of a sudden is getting balls all over the field. getting them actually thrown to him in the endzone [henne was not allowed as he threw redzone int's] and ended with more td's and yds than hennes year with him coming off the bench with only 13 games!!!

so if anyone was going to start grumbling about moore, you would think it would be someone OTHER than marshall.

more wierdness from finZland.

so which is it brandon, does he need to go or is he the guy who was "ballin' and responsable for the teams spark"?

i dont care. he can have his opinion. just tell us what the REAL one is [and why] .

Marshall looking for a better quarterback ??? :chuckle:

Matt Moore looking for a better #1 WR makes just as much, if not more sense.

We finally have a good young quarterback and people want to sign a washed up peyton manning, years past his prime, after spending a whole year not throwing footballs. Or they want the career backup who lit up the lions and patriots secondary in his only two starts (which were garbage games) for the most talented offense in the league.

The guy who's younger and a proven winner on an average team is getting severely overlooked. Moore was thrown into the mix right right as camp was getting its late start. He was taking 2nd team reps...... but by the end of the season he was one of the better QBs in the League !

I can see it now...... for almost 15 years Huiezanga & Co couldnt find a Good Quarterback.
Ross found one early, but replaced him with a bunch of bums. I'm going to puke !

dont get carried away. matt moore is average at best. we still need to get better at qb if we have any hope of being a consistent playoff team. 16 td 9 int , 60% completion, and under 200 yds per game passing. average at best.

Matt should be the starter next year but come on we all know whats gonna happen it happens all the time. New coach new QB.

Sorry had to fix which Matt lol

Did he drop the mucrophone during the interview?... probably not it wasn't for a TD.

you realize that proven winner(Moore) didn't beat a team with a final winning record

KC-7-9
Wash...5-11
Bills...6-10 twice
Jets...8-8
Oakland...8-8

Proven winner...good one !!!

No that doesn't make sense since Moore is a backup.

you mean THE TEAM didnt beat anyone with a winning record. players dont win games by themselves.

henne didnt win a game against a good or bad team. he didnt win ANY games.

this kind of arguement is full of holes.

FACT IS, we need much, much more than changing the qb. he won the games he was supposed to, right? more wins than losses, but folks want to find some excuse why that means nothing. the reason why we couldnt beat the "good" TEAMS is because we are not a good TEAM yet. bad o-line, 1 decent corner, poor safety's, 1 good pass rusher.

thats why we are not beating the big time teams. we dont have BIG TIME TALENT like they do. and big time coaching [untill now].

You said Matt Moore and starter together...haha

yea, he did. wasnt that matt moore who was the sgtarter for the panthers and for us last year?

what exactly do call a "starter'? a guy who wins more games than looses? he did that.

more td's than int's? he did that.

and hi completion percentage and rating? he has that.

so if those things dont make a starter, what does?

what does 67STANG consider a "starter"?

Moore did a great job with the situation we were given last year, but Moore isn't a franchise QB or a QB that will lead us throughout the season and deep in the playoffs. Moore wont be our starting QB next year but he will make an excellent backup.
