I had heard about a month ago that Garrett went to Colorado to visit with Holland and had a private workout with him. Seems like we definitely like this kid alot.....Any chance he makes the team....Dont know much about him...Video??? links???? Stats???

I would put him ahead of Berlin and behind Lemon right now. I don't think Berlin will make the roster and the #3 will be between Cleo Lemon and this kid.

I agree that Holland has a great chance to supplant Berlin as a developmental qb.

Daunte-starter
Joey-backup
Cleo- #3

Holland-practice squad
Berlin-teaching high school gym

I don't think he has much of a shot myself, but you don't invest scouting time and free agent money for a blocking dummy. Remember, Jake Delhomme wasn't drafted either.

Has Marcus Vick been signed as a UDFA as of yet?

No, and he probabally won't. Nobody wants a QB who only had one or two seasons of play under his belt especially with the baggage he brings. Hell the Falcons took DJ Shockley instead of Vick's kid brother, and all Atlanta cares about is selling seats at the Dome. Vick needs about 2 or 3 years in NFL Europe to get away from these thugs he runs with and get his crap together before he gets a chance in the NFL.

Contribute? No. However, he will probably get a fair chance at the no.3 QB spot. If not, maybe the practice squad.

Higlights of Holland

Hey I know its not much but if you guys head over to www.youtube.com and type in Colorado state football in the search file you can catch some 2005 highlights of their team. You can catch a couple highlights of Holland.

The signing of Holland signaled that the Phins are ready to part ways with Brock Berlin. Saban said in his PC yesterday that the team would bring in an UDFA QB and they will see how Berlin does in NFLE to decide who will get the last QB spot. Given that Berlin has just plain sucked it up, I think Holland gets the nod JMO.
