Jamar Chase was no.1 target for Burrows,
is that means he's better than Jefferson who has been phenominal?

trying to figure this one out. one moment

JJ is already doing well in the NFL but Chase should be awesome as well. Sometimes the team they go to have a lot to do with it. I'd love to have Chase here with Tua.

Chase opted out for 2020.
I do not know what that means. Lives with an at risk person? Letting his team down to work on individual skills to impress the combine?

I really like Waddle when I saw Bama play. Now he is out, likely thru the combine. Maybe even out thru early season 2021

Protecting himself instead of putting him at risk for an organization that refuses to pay him for the money he earns for them and doesn't give a damn about his long term health or personal security/future?

i would dare say he's not paying any tuition fees at LSU so technically he gets a college degree and a shot at the pros for free, instead of dropping 100k+ into it.

Well, Chase won the Biletnikoff award as the nation's top college WR, so take that for what it's worth. It's not a guarantee of NFL stardom or anything (See Dede Westbook) but I love Chase's skill set and would not likely object if Miami took him with that Texan's pick depending on where they end of selecting and how the board falls. Chase is pretty well rounded with good size and speed and sat out this year given the uncertainty with Covid and the fact he knows he's already a top 10 pick in the draft. I can hardly blame him for that. The kid is only 20 years old and the thought of Tua having him as a target is pretty salivating.

Given the injury to Waddle, I think Chase become target #1 for Miami in Round 1. The beauty of it is, Miami could luck out and land Waddle in Round 2 if they want to take a chance on a player that might not be ready to play next year. They have the luxury to afford to do that with so many picks.

What do you guys think of Rondale Moore from Purdue? I've just been introduced to this kid but I don't watch much college football anymore so wasn't familiar with him

I dont know but Jefferson has been ballin. We need a guy like that on the field with Parker.

I don’t blame any college athlete for opting out just as I don’t blame anyone in the NFL. Maybe he did it to protect himself, maybe he did it to protect an at-risk family member. Unless you know him and his reasons, judging him for it is more of a reflection on you than on him.

With that said, drafting players who have opted out of college this season is an added risk and presumably increases the likelihood of them opting out of NFL seasons. Not a deal breaker but certainly warrants consideration.

I have no problem with the fact Chase opted out but to say that he made money for his college and got nothing in return is ridiculous. A free education is a big deal and he gets the chance to showcase his talents to the NFL. Hard to believe that people want them to get pay on top of it. Nobody's pointing a gun to their head to play football in college.

I absolutely loved Jefferson coming out. I think Chase is a better prospect.

I don't know how teams will react to players who
opted out. Does that move Chase down a little?
