please dont use the word firesale anymore, everytime i hear it i go intro depression for like months because of wat david samson did to my FLORIDA MARLINS, hey for the right price i wouldnt mind Trent Green.

yeah all of those will be cut.....
Seriously, I guarantee none of those players will be cut, some might restructure but thats all. We are not 20 mil over the cap, please that number is far fetched. These cap projections are always inflated because they include money that will never be given. We will have to cut Bell,mccleon, maybe warfield, but no one essential.

Besides according to that article the last time we were in the same situation we had a great offseason.
 
I would say that quite a few of their high paided players will be willing to redo their contracts to help the team out.

Almost 8 mil of that is in Kendrell Bell's contract alone, we are not in good cap shape, but we are not nearly in as bad of shape as that article is implying.
 
Trent Green is old as dirt and I would take him in a heartbeat. Wouldn't think twice.

If I was Wayne, I'd buy him a Jag and a condo on the beach and have Will Smith throw him a party.

One of the more underrated QBs in football, IMO.

We shall see because the Chiefs have to get under the cap BEFORE the start of free agency and that is in two weeks....let the FIRE SALE begin.

Its possible that Priest might be gone, but probably only if he retires. It is unlikely that he would be cut because the penalty would actually be bigger than his cap hit for this year. Shield could retire also. But the idea of anyone besides Priest being cut is simply laughable. If you really think Trent, Tony G, or Surtain have any chance of being cut you are dreaming.
