i dont know if theirs a thread on this but i watched the game from sun. and i must say that kiwauke thomas was pretty damn decent against joe horn and others hes fast and stcks to the reciever like glue.. i wa very impressed IMO.

also seth mckinney is the worst center in the league when ever he is pulling out to block for the run he is steadily wiffing or getting knocked on his arse

I agree with both points.
Thomas looked decent, not great. I think he was beat on one play pretty bad but the ball wasnt thrown well. Otherwise he held his own, especially for being one of his first actual games in this defense.

ABout seth, he does whiff quite a lot on his blocks. When he actually does connect though he is pretty strong and can drive guys back. He had some decent blocks...but yes, the missing is quite horrible and even laughable most of the time.

K.Thomas was a pleasant surprise

Look to the draft for the "O-line" excellent center coming ot of UF

I have been pleasantly surprised with Kiwaukee Thomas as well and have been hoping for him to get more playing time, I really don't think he or Eddie Jackson are really THAT bad.

You must have missed the memo. People here now think Howard is a solid corner and playing good, because he caught an INT thrown right at him

Was it S. Mckinney that was bleeding bad in the first quarter?

A lot of people said Howard played well but I didn't see it. Watch every third down conversion the Saints completed - good ol #25 was on coverage every time - and normally no where to be seen.

I liked Thomas last game and is it Jackson or something for Jax? He was another corner that didn't play bad when he got a chance a few games ago. I am all for letting these guys show what they have.

VEry nice point. This is one of the main reasons I see changes starting to come to fruition for the better. I noticed Thomas as well. He looks like a hitter with some speed, knowledge. I also thought that Tillman was better than T. Jones.

If Kawaikee Thomas is consistant every week, I think our defense will become more effective.

As for Mckinney, he is not good in open spaces. That is why we need to run the ball, our Oline overall is a running team, not a passing team. Hopefully Linehan understands that now from week to week. Last week was certainly much better.

Eddie jackson started against the Bills. He got abused right from the get go. He was replaced in the second half. Jackson i am in no way confident in. Thomas will shine IMO.

YUP. See the thread about someone saying they hope Madison aggravates his injury because Howard would be better against the falcons.

Howard played much better and I believe coach said something about him playing outside while Thomas plays slot, or vice versa. Howard will be gone by the time we find his replacement. That is how Saban works the roster. If we no longer need ya. Why keep ya? But I think he will stick this year because of injuries.
